Need a dragonoid build

Title says it all. This is going to be the last build imma use before the dlc comes out. The only problem is, i don't even have a build because i don't know how to work with the dragonoid thing. :x

I want to make a SL 100 dragonoid build but i just ain't getting nowhere. So any builds posted is appreciated. Also, i would like to be able to use both effects of the torso and head stone if possible so if the build made it any easier using the effects that's only a +. Thanks in advance.

A dragonoid build can be any build that uses the torso stone. So just make a build you like and remove the armor .
I do suggest 50 vit (you don't have any armor, so a lot of health will help) and 40 end (the dragon roar takes a lot of stamina).

Using the headstone successfully in PvP is close to impossible. Unless you're playing against someone with 0 poise. So you should not even try.
But the torso stone is always useful. It can either act as a very strong kick, just roar once they're near and then you might be able to hit them if you have a fast weapon (you even get the damage boost on top of it).
Or it can act as a buff before you attack (35% damage boost is not something to take lightly, assuming you're +3 in the cov).
Or it can act as weapon against turtles. Since it blows away shields, leaving the vulnerable for a while (any damage you do to them while they're in the animation is also considered a critical hit). You can even go around them and BS them. This works well against parry spammers too.
But with the new patch coming, the roar is nerfed. Right now it blows away any med/small shield except for the silver/black knight shields. But after the patch it wont even blow away med shields.
It might be that it's at full power again when you're +3 in the cov though.
But any weapon can make the most out of the roar, even the UGW can be fast (jump attack).

You'll need to practice a lot with the dragon body though.

That's what my version of that build would look like.

They're going to nerf the strength of the roar against turtles? That sucks. It uses up so much stamina, it should blow away any shield. It's not like the dragon stone was overpowered by any means! And if the turtle was walking backwards while blocking, by the time you actually roared and broke his guard, you needed to take a few steps forward to get into striking range, by which time he'd have been able to get away already...

Anyways, in my experience, the lack of poise makes it very annoying to use strength weapons with a dragon build. If you're good at using str weapons with low poise, then by all means go ahead and use one for ridiculous damage! Otherwise, you could try something like this:

PGS and SKS are two of my favorite PvP weapons. The PGS is great because it's so fast, and deals so much damage. If you've got good timing, it's possible to get hits in and dodge before your opponent's weapon strikes you. And the SKS is great at dealing damage while keeping you out of harm's way entirely. A great weapon to fall back on if you're down to low health! And the DSGB is just there to use up spare weight! Also, for the troll factor. And with PW and the roar, it'll deal damage no one will scoff at--in a hilarious way.

If you're really daring, swap the Wolf's ring for the Red Tearstone Ring, too.

ICE said that the roar was nerfed in the PC version. I haven't PvPed much on the PC, so i can't really comment on it. But i trust ICE in this.

And walking a few steps back might help. It depends on the weapon. If i have a UGW, spear, BSS, halberd weapon (except a great/lifehunt scythe or a lucerne), a greatsword, an uchi/WP or a regular rapier/estoc. Then i will hit you 95% of the time. This is of course assuming that you have your shield up and the roar knocks it away.

I's a sl 120 dex build that uses SLB on a great scythe and has SKS as a backup weapon. It also has 2 WoGs.

I'm making a spell casting dragonoid, don't know wither I'm better as a mage a faith user or a pyro.

Depends on what your personal preference is.
I prefer pyro, but that's just me.

Yea pyros probablly the best option.
