I keep saying I will start, but I always get sidetracked by other things.

I actually thought he was really good in Everything is Illuminated. Actually a pretty great flick all around.

Don't mean to derail the thread from the intended book, but I finished Rant. If you're ever looking for something to read that's edgy and original, that challenges social norms--or even existential questions,--I recommend it. It's not for sensitive people, though! Bear in mind it's written by the guy who wrote Fight Club. I enjoyed it very much.

You should try to read Palahniuk's short story "Guts." I challenge anyone to read that story and not feel a bit queasy afterwards. Sorta made me feel like I was going to lose my lunch. That's a pretty powerful statement about someone's writing ability. They can make the masses vomit with mere words.

lol
Funny story, Guts, thanks Plastic.
@Rant: I'll look into Pigmy. I thought maybe I'd read Fight Club, but I'll look at both.
- Guts spoiler:
- "If I told you how it tasted, you would never, ever again eat calamari."
How's that for not telling!

Currently reading Roverandom by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's more about learning than enjoyment.

Re: Forum Book Club
Could I nominate the next book? I feel like I'm too late to start reading Everything is Illuminated, but I'll check it out on amazon later.
For the next book I would suggest Every day by David Levithan, it's about a kid, A who inhabits someone's body everyday and has done since he was young. It seems like a very good book.
