Re: Forum Book Club
Not as many likely going from swedish to english is a very very smart move for any national success going from english to swedish is an only if you are very confident the costs are worth it. english is more widely spoken I guess.

What Dan said.
And I've just read the last 4 books of Katharine Kerrs serie about Deverry.
For some reason they translated the first 12 books but then they stopped.

We should see an ample roll call before doing this. Meaning everyone else.

Re: Forum Book Club
Bret Easton Ellis wrote American Psycho, right? I'd be interested to read a novel of his.
I'm reading a **** novel right now, but I'm sure I'll have time to finish it with time to spare to read the book you guys choose for November. Count me in!
Edit: really, can't say D!ckens?

Yes! Everything is Illuminated was picked for November. Has anybody started reading it yet? I'm going to start this weekend.
Also, we need to do a roll call! Who is still participating in this? :?:

I haven't started reading it yet, but i'll start this weekend as well.
FYI, if it's shorter than 600 pages then i'll probably read it in 2-3 days.

I've dealing with a kind of crazy time recently, but I'll look out for this book sooner rather than later.

Re: Forum Book Club
Anyone actually reading Rant?!
I finally found it at the bookstore today (got around to finding it, I should say...), and I can't believe I'd forgotten Chuck also wrote Fight Club! I'm reading Walden right now, though, and playing FFVI, and reading my microecon textbook because I stopped showing up to class... So Rant's going to have to really grab me if I'm going to finish it by the end of the month!

Am I the only one reading this book, now?!
If you're on the fence because it's getting late in the month, don't worry--it's a pretty fast read. And I'm enjoying it a lot so far, so I recommend you pick it up.

Lmao. I didn't know how to break it to you, because it seemed like you were really enjoying it. For the record I voted Rant too, since I had already seen the Everything is Illuminated movie.

Was there a Bret Easton Ellis book in the lineup? I voted for that one.
Not sure why I was convinced Rant was picked!
So... sorry guys and girls, I won't be reading this month's book!
