the great clubs ar really isnt that much better. i also like large clubs move set a lot more, and it inflicts poison which is a bonus. at 40str its like a 30dmg difference and the great club has better range,also it seems like the great clubs rolling r1 has an aoe type effect.

Upon upgrading the Great Club begins to scale with A same as the Large Club.
So yes, it has more AR as he said ^^
EDIT: I still prefer the Large Club though, due to it's moveset.

I have used them both quite a bit and the 1-handed R2 attack of the large club can be very useful and powerful. The Great Club does not have this attack. To me that would be reason enough to keep them both.

large club, not a big difference in AR and the move set of the large club is better. GC is really good and has more reach but the r2 one handed attack of the large club is hard to beat and can deda angle.

For me, I like the Large Club more. But it's honestly down to personal preference.

Ahh... anyway, it's all about moveset, really. The AR isn't a big difference, and the poison doesn't matter too much. it's a psychological thing, sure, but you'd have to pound them pretty hard and fast to poison them, and that aint happenin' with a club. You gon' get roll bs'ed or parried if you try to go for poison.

This is the toon that uses the DGM
I just need a club when i host in the forest. Can’t hit spears with the DGM, at least not if they’re good with them.
