Idea for Manus. (Spoilers, obviously)

Since it's either been confirmed you can't cut his tail off, or it's rediculously hard, has anyone tried cutting off the hand he grabs you with? Because with the Centipede Demon, you get the Charred Ring by cutting off either his big fat bug arm or his tail. Figured it might be the same deal with this guy.

I don't have the PC version, so I can't try it myself.

Maybe you can only cut off his tail with the calamity ring, symbol of avarice equipped, using a chaos blade and buffed with power within from a +5 ascended Pyro glove.

I haven't tried this strategy myself, but I found this video (an answer to ENB's challenge) where the player hits only his hand and nothing special happens :/

Luckily its damage does not scale with your flame anymore in the PC version

Seriously??? I need to confirm this when I get home. I have been fast menu swapping this whole time!!!!
