Do you think this is the cheapest tactic to kill people in Dark Souls?

I mostly play as a Forest Hunter, take a guess what I hate the most.

well the ring of fog inst very useful since its been nerfed
but i put my vote down for farmers, its just not fun when you come in and there is three people waiting to kill you. on a side note combinations of all of the above reach a whole new lvl of annoying

I once saw a video of someone wearing a RoF and posing as the ninja behind shiva and completely fooled some people and since they couldn't find the host they just jumped off the cliff together.

I try that trick every now and then when I'm invaded, usually it fails. But when I manage to completely avoid an invader in Anor Londo because I'm disguised as a Silver Knight, I have quite a laugh. What's funny is it's not hard to figure it out if you get suspicious, check if you can lock on.

I voted for the farmers, which I assume refers to those jokes that camp in their world with one or two sunbro phantoms waiting to gangbang invaders. This is by FAR the most annoying thing in this game. Seriously, I have no problem with DWGR, or backstabs, spell spamming, or hornet rings. All of that is overcome fairly easily. You almost NEED those things in order to even stand a chance in a 3v1 situation. Nerfing any of those would make it much tougher to deal with gangbangers. I really wish that there was some kind of 'group invade' feature where you would be able to invade with a friend or random player. You would only be able to invade in worlds where there is a host with one or two helper phantoms, and it would make the invader's lives easier and these campers lives a nightmare. I really reserve a special kind of hatred for these people who 3v1, and although we will never see anything like a group invasion to counter it; its nice to dream.

Yes, for everyone's clarification by "farmers/grievers" I meant either the people who camp in popular pvp spots waiting for invaders to gang up on, or people who invade at sub sl 30 in area's like the burg to pick on noobs.

The big problem me and most others seem to have with this ring is the fact that it allows for tank/hvy armoured ppl to have full mobility like light med weight characters. I'm trying to think of some ideas to fix this imbalance.

- One idea that may work is simply putting an armour wieght limit on the ring. Heavy sets range from 40 to ?, so just make the ring unequipable past the 40 weight armour range. simple.

- Or place a limit on total equip burden, like at 80+ total lbs. you can't equip it.

No players should have the best of def and mobility. what do you guys think?

farmoers are the worst, i always crystal out but sometimes i have no time and have to fight which gets me killed most of the time.

I stun lockers who prey on low lvl its very annoying yesterday me and a friend where trying to coop and some one who is on NG+ because of the Gwyns greats sword killed me in 3 hits

I hate people who can consistently parry/riposte me.

I mean, the nerve of some people being good at this game. Better than me even? That is not fair.

The hitbox for backstabs needs to be tied to dexterity. If you have high dex, your own hitbox becomes smaller, which is logical anyway. If you have low dex, the hitbox becomes bigger. This would give dex builds a more even playing field.

Chain BS - Esp asshats who summon you/you summon for a duel and who then proceed to chain bs you at the first opportunity. Lame.

Voted for farmers/griefers. That's just people trying to take advantage of something that is on the game, in a totally unfair way too.

What when I get summoned by Red soapstone, the host bows, and when I bow, a sunbro appears from chameleon or from behind a wall and hornet's ring backstab me, then both do a shrug or point down gesture?

@carphil I think I'd classify those as farmers or grievers.

I also should have added chain bs.

I can understand your aggravation but it happens, I used to get really annoyed but then I just started ignoring it (youll die plenty anyway).

But that said, I never understood why people used Chameleon, especially in the forest where its so easily spotted. I had one encounter with an invader that hid like a Vase just before the Bell Gargoyle curtain, scared the hell out of me when he popped, me heart was out of my mouth almost but I managed to get him in the end.
