Does Dragon convenant Armor increase fist weapon dmg?

Now i know this sounds odd. But i was reading something about unarmed damage increases threw Fist weapons or maybe it was vice versa, or something like that so im wondering. ANYWAYS...if you got the Dragon gear would fist weapons do more dmg as well?

i feel like a complete herpderp for asking, but just checkin.

can any Dragon bros test this out for me?

The damage boost comes from the claws of the actual dragon body itself, not weapons like the claw or the caestus. They can be pretty strong up until halfway through the game. But fist weapons will require stat investment for best results.

the dragon bodies barefist/claws are probably the best fist weapon in the game based on sheer damage, but many peopl dislike their moveset. the jumping attack is awesome to look at though...

and no caestus's and other fist gauntlets don't get a boost, though kirks gloves do boost caestus damage by like 2 dmg a hit (not sure if this boost works for claws though...)
