Decent Forest Hunter build

Perfecting my Forest Hunter anti-gank-whilst-not-being-too-cheap build last night, and this is what I was rocking.

With this, I lost maybe 6/7 out of 40 invasions. Not too shabby, I'd say! That may have been down to the fact that I was in a complete no mercy, no bull**** sort of mood, but I still think its a pretty solid build. Red Tearstone Ring...so much win! Enough poise for anything up to 1-handed GS hit, and if you get stunlocked, well - wait till your ring activates then weapon swap out of there

If you don't want to be cheap yet counter gankers you could use TWoP but not backstab.
Reason is because it stops them from backstabbing YOU.
Be warned if you use it against solo players they'll asume you're a backstabber.

your gonna have to learn to counter DMB lightning claymores now... joined the FH's to get the dwgr ring but decided to use the ring once, the host has the dragon head in full giants, trys to machine gun firebombs at me and i evade, another fh invades we head down slowly so as not to get caught in the firebomb storm, we fire arrows trying to head shot stun the @$$ so he'll stop vomiting up fire bomb, we miss but he stops any way and begins spinign in circles using undead rapport, guessing what hes doing i try to rush him, he gets DMB on his lightning claymore any way, after some dancing with me the other fh lands a back stab for 400 dmg, i land a hit as the host gets up and he dies.... he was like lvl 20 at the most

Yeah that sucks. On the plus side at least they don't get the full damage from the buff when they spell swap it with a flame/talisman. It's not much of a plus though lol.
