Question about Chameleon

So lets say I use an Eye of Death and once someone finds my sign and invades (Which I will move to a better location quickly) I use Chameleon.

Now when I use Chameleon, I can see that I give off light, will the invaders see the light I give off as well?

Or am I well hidden until they get close enough.

the lighting effect isn't seen but the object you appear as will be discolored compared to others, trees in dark root will look darker than normal, etc, so hide in a dark spot, on a side note most hosts/invaders aren't observant enough to look for out of place trees etc. however, people who use chameleon (like myself) know to look for out of place trees, especially if they've been in the area for a while, so repeat invaders my figure out what to look for.

Thanks for the reply, I was trying it in Tomb of Giants, the invader passed me once but came and attacked my skull. (Still a neat idea)

Chameleon is awesome if you're going to do stuff like CSS or surprise BS as they pass by. It's useful enough in duels too, but definitely more effective for trolling vaders.

Totg is one of the better spots to use chameleon as few people linger long enough to know the lay out well, plus if you break a skull object you can put your self in its place and look almost exactly the same as the original. still though placement is important, after leeroys invasion point there are pretty much no chameleon skulls so you'll look out of place with all the bowing skeletons in the next section, before that though...

Best spot imo is what you would call the catacombs - frequent invasions and you just hit one pot and chameleon in its place - you look exactly the same as it and the pot debris blends in with the natural debris of the floor.
