Chameleon in pvp

So i started to mess around with the chameleon spell a bit while hosting in the forest. Not to ambush people but just to screw with their minds a bit.
I noticed that alot of people just rush the silly moving tree and dont think about what could happen when they do.

I usually pop a css when they start to rush me and are close but i also did some nice parry's on them when they came close and wanted to smack me with that greatsword.

Those are some examples of what you can do with the chameleon spell but i would like to hear if some people here have some more experience with it and would like to share their dirty tricks with the spell.

Ow i also noticed it breaks lock-on wich is pretty great!

Had that happen to me once. Not pretty .

I used to hide and 2hand a nasty weapon. Probably better combinatinos out there, but a Demon Great Machete with a STR user can dish out some big damage. Trade blows/stunlock them, and watch them go down.

Now, I use my bow to shoot the trees, knowing what can lie in store.

You know that someone's using chameleon when one object in the area is brighter looking than the others, the spell would be a lot more clever if it got rid of the faint light surrounding the player.

But I don't think other people can see the light around your character. It's just a thing only you can see. It illuminates your surroundings but to other people, nothing.

Unless you're talking about something completely different

I think thats the lightradius from your character that only you see yes. But i also notice that if someone turns in a tree in the forest they are usualy a bit darker than the real trees.

Also ive been playing around a bit more with chameleon yesterday and i found that its pretty cool to do a chameleon roll bs. It worked on a lot of people because they didnt expect it.
I even went to Dusk to get another stack of the spell just cause i use it so much now .

yea others can't see that light surrounding you

it really messes up duels, although instead of rushing to enemy i rush in circles next to them but being careful to not to get backstabbed
