My most favorite ELO track is "here is the news". I just like that one!

Sorry but, if you are fighting gankers for hours, the ingame music does not create nor support any atmosphere. I already played the game listening to the music.

Why would anyone listen to music when the music in-game fits all...

Old Castlevania soundtracks. Its so fitting when there is not a music in DkS background!
You can get only Symphony of the Night OST, and every track fit in a DkS environment

Am I the only Death Cab fan here?
I don't really usually listen to music. I like listening to a Playthrough of DkS, Red vs Blue (I just finished that, so I'm done), and now I'm on to my normal video game show... Friends.

Usually I find music interrupts my focus, but I have a build that I timed would die from power within (if not hit) in a minute and thirty one seconds. Which I use in conjunction with this song.

"What? Who are you talking to?"
"Love. My sword."
"Oh. You named your sword Love?"
"Yes. Now, I'm going to kill you with Love."

Yup, that's the version I listen too! haha
No really, I don't listen to music when I'm playing a game that has a fantastic soundtrack. If a game has really bad music than I just put on my own, but not in Dark Souls.

For years, my favorite band has been The Mars Volta. Their first album, De-loused in the Comatorium is a themed album that tells the story of a man who attempts suicide but ends up in a coma instead.
While in the coma, the man dreams of such epic and exciting adventures that when he ultimately comes out of the coma, reality is even more difficult to deal with and he promptly attempts suicide again.
Not only is it strangely addicting music but I find it oddly applicable to Dark Souls, as well. It may sound somewhy depressing or macabre, but it really is an quite a ride from beginning to end.
