Whoa...Awesome.

So i made my first sorcerer! All ive ever done is melee...This is effin hard. lol feels like the first time i played. Its awesome.

So can someone give me some good advice for the build? I dont really intend to duel with it...i just wanna troll people...gankers....or anyone cause youtube(Amos) made it look fun. Mostly forest gankers though. I intend to get MLGS of course cause ive always wanted to try it.

So whats a good build?

In my experience, Chameleon is one of the best casts to have on a sorcery build. Also incorporating WoG with Velka's talisman is awesome, depending on the playstyle you want with your mage. I did a lot of Chameleon stuff, even in duels, and it's fun enough. Ended up favoring other builds though. It's a nice change of pace though.

I did my first caster a little bit ago, I found that freeing Grigs should be your top priority. Also, you'll have weenie spells and serious spells but as you get to at least new game+ you'll have a good variety of strong casts. This is my current build and when I get up to bosses I usually score 2000 a hit and I can 1 shot most invaders I encounter.

Beware... If you intend to use MLGS... You will end up going all melee with the build.

The Velka's Rapier is underated in my opinion, deals good damage and it's R2 is fun to use.

The Fury Sword is just an all around good weapon, and the high dex combined with high intelligence will give you hard hitting and fast casting spells.

You can tweak the spells to your liking, those are just some of my favorites, and if you want to go more melee focused, you can swap out the Bellowing ring for either a wolf ring for some much needed poise, or a hornet ring for incredibly deadly backstabs.
