But I agree with wyrm, though having just one crystal is more reasonable since you don't wanna be farming materials constantly, and your offhand won't be used quite as much.

Thing thast worries me about crystal weapons is the whole durability thing though. Is there a way to repair crystal weapons or not?

No you can't repair them. Either way regular will deal more damage too, as Forum says.

Hmm.. Well.. Elemtals deal damage through shields, and trust me thats better than trying to land a real hit, plus the AR on elementals, as i understand, is higher, meaning easier to stunlock and wail on an enemy/phantom, laying them to waste with my machetes >D

The two things I know that affect it I think are weapon type and weight, though some say that every weapon in the same class does the same poise damage I disagree really.

However I'm not so sure poise is unaffected by damage TYPE though, loads of people say MLGS stunlocks much more easily than other greatswords...

LOL exactly. The only weapon I have tested that's not the same in the category of poise break is the Hand Axe.

All small axes break 52 poise when 2 handed, but the Hand Axe can't break even 21 poise. All other weapons I have seen follow this path, including the MLGS, which everyone say that it breaks more than 53 poise, which I have tested and it's not true.

In other words, no matter how high your AR is, the weapon will always break a certain amount of poise per swing. My DGA + DMB can't break 77 poise, even though it has +1000 AR, for example.

I reckon from will adjust poise next game to take into account weapon weight and damage type too, will make the use of different weapons and using buffs etc. much more interesting. Poise is the one thing that could mean there's reason to wielding something like the demons greataxe +15 compared to reg greataxe elemental.

Could be used to make higher weight but slightly lower damage weapons an option just for the stunlock they offer to make up for any damage difference.

You could start as a Bandit and have the same relevant stats and only be at level 114....

....just saying.

MLGS locks better because of swing speed. Either way, it doesn't matter. DGM's are b*ner.

Never fought someone duel wielding DGM. Although I would expect you would take alot of Ls with this build it doesnt take away from the fact that it's boss as ***. lol
