So I'm in the process of creating a gravelord servant-type build, and I've run against a wall.
For my left hand I'm either looking for a weapon with a long-reaching attack or a sweeping attack. I quickly realized that, since the gravelord sword already has a nice stab move, I should probably go for a sweeping attack.
I've narrowed my options down to two choices: the Gargoyle's Halberd or the Black Knight Halberd.
The Black Knight Halberd's R2 is positively BADASS. I love the way it sweeps, and the damage isn't horrible either. The problem is the weight. For the build I want, and to get over 53 poise, I would need 61 endurance. That's... A lot. Here's what a build with the BKH looks like: http://goo.gl/I1d3I
The Gargoyle's Halberd is light, meaning I only need a 48 END investment, it offers resistances, and has the trademark sweeping attack. The issue is that I'd be missing out on that kickass BKH R2 Here's a build with the Gargoyle's Halberd: http://goo.gl/9NC7b
So what do you guys think? Is that massive weight worth the sexy R2 swing?
