Resolved - Lock this

There is no summon sign for her. I haven't even touched Hydra in the Basin, yet. Do I need to, or am i just looking at the place fo rthe sign?

Haven't fought moonlight butterfly yet. Is it worth it?

You need to summon her for the moonlight butterfly I think. Her sign is on the other side of the pillar to the right of the bridge leading to the 4 kings fog door.

If all else is failing then yes it's worth it. I assume tank approach failed then?

Yes, considering your situation I'd say it is. It's out of the way, so that's a pain. But become a human for the Butterfly fight, summon Beatrice, then head back to New Londo and summon her for the 4 Kings.

It's probably your best bet.

If this fails then give me a bit and I will speed level a character within range. I would rather not have to do this but I want to help you get past these aholes.

And you don't need to deal with the Hydra to get to the Moonlight Butterfly. Just go to the Parish where Andre the blacksmith is and past the room where a Prowling Demon resides is the Butterfly's forest. I'd suggest for you to hit the hidden bonfire by the FH door and just follow along the path to the Butterfly.

Beatrice's summon sign is at the bottom of the stairs, it's a little hidden underneath some vegetation but you should be able to find it no problem.

Have not tried tank yet. I'm working on it, however.

Tank approach was a fail for the legends. All 4 of the kings spawned and gangbanged me.

Hmm I have honestly never had the tank approach fail me. Oh well.

Edit: On NG at least. In NG+ I needed 2 good summons.

Was too slow to evade their attacks, each of their hits destroyed my stamina bar when I blocked. Got grabbed like 4 times.

Hmm well when I did it I all out aggro'd them. I only blocked their AOE magic and tanked the rest. They grabbed me sometimes but it usually wasn't a big deal. Then again that tank was a while ago; my recent toons have swifter dex/faith builds. Hmm so here you sit in quite a pickle.

maybe you need a completely new approach? i used my faith/stg build on them and failed miserably every single damn time, but then i pulled out some pyromancy, i used fire surge, great fireball, fire whip, and chaos fire whip. use some of those and their heath goes down pretty fast, and i also recommend going up 10 lvls as you will be able to summon people there, and that's the lvl range for that place. you sir have balls going into that fight with that gear, you need to take some time to polish that build. hell, even some fire resin will heighten the damage.

I would help but I only have characters ranging from SL 60 to 150. Although I have one that is SL 15 that I could get to 40 pretty quick so I could help you.

Beatrice is sort of useless, though. She misses often and her def is garbage. She's a nice distraction, however.

Thats her point to keep the heat off you. If she hits her damage is okay though. Not fantastic but okay.

At least you're getting closer. That's all that matters. Keep chip-chip-chipping away at that stone, eventually you'll get it to shatter.

Screw it. Beatrice is zero help, You can't even HEAL her with flasks. I'll come back later.

you can't heal npcs they would be too overpowered. their defense is high for that very reason.
