I just got 391420 Souls for killing one guy lol

I killed a guy at Darkroot forest (as a forest covenant member), and he dropped 391420 souls lol. What level was this guy?

how could he even invade you at that lvl??

because he's forest hunter cov lol, level rules dont apply to them

The worst thing is that he was easy to beat, he just spammed R1 attacks from Moonlight GS, and with my Greatshield of Artorias, he almost did no damage at all to me haha. Also, GS of Artorias + Replenishment = FUN.

I'm the one who invaded him as a member of the Forest Covenant. I'm invading again!

I killed this another guy too but he only dropped 15k souls, . He was also using Moonlight GS, why everyone uses that? He didn't even use magic.

If you invaded, he could have as much souls as he wants at any level, not sure if this is true, confirmation?

WTF haha I just got a message saying "Invading world of the guilty" lol, it failed thankfully.

i got 880k off someone in kiln, i bowed and they still indicted me lol

I indict people if they give me a good match or if they're funny lol, dicks don't get indictions. thats what they want

lol i like that, guy invaded me in just boar helm and smough chest and had a nice match (though he BSd at the end, shame really) but channeler danced and well i liked him so he got my vote

He was SL 291

Yesterday, I killed a SL 294 who gave me 405000

Again, and again.. NO ! the souls you get only depend on the guy's level and whether you're the host or the invader. The amount of souls the guy holds has absolutely no effect on the souls you get...

ZeGlobox is right. The amount of souls from a PVP win is the number of souls it took you to go up you last level divided by 2. So to go from level 299 to 300 costs 846,185 souls. Divide that by 2 and that is the amount of souls you get from killing him.

Never seen that... Well.. maybe you killed some glitcher (savegame-tweak) or maybe there's some extra bonus souls for killing a 712 lvl guy, haven't met any since I've started playing, so I can't tell...

But, so far, after playing 100+ hours of PVP, the calculator was always right. At least for the forest / Darkwraith / Red soap convenants.
Can't tell for other convenants though, as I haven't tried them.

I have a theory were Darkmoon convenants may get/give more souls, but haven't been able to verify it yet.

Not sure about BB, but BS usually means "Back Stab" around here..

Also.. you have to mention that you divide by 2 if the guy was an invader, and by 10 if the guy was a host.

Killing a lvl 300 invader will give you 423k souls, while killing a lvl 300 host will only give you 84k !
