Hm. your right. 760 AR is better even if split.
however you dont have to worry about the problems with buffing if you want to use your bow again (although if you did a buffing class the bow could go off hand I guess but that would mean no shield)

I think you need to take a powerful build and then give it a cool theme rather than take a cool theme and try and make it powerful.

Right, I only read 4 of the like 9 new pages, but all of those just kill versatility of any kind.
Cant buff the chaos blade or any of the greatswords as good examples, and the greatsword class even has 40 int. Nevermind that lightning instead of enchanted in any of those would hit harder and save 30 int points.

I don't think weapon pogression is the way to go. Not at all.

Off to read the other pages.

Finished. Standing buy it. Weapon based classes are far too restricting imo. To many hybrids you'd be killing.

Forum I don't think hybrids are viable at SL 80. But I want you to make one because I don't know which stats are good at SL 80. I just know that pure stat builds, elemental weapons and low scaling weapons are good at that SL.

Wyrm. All pure stat builds are not viable at sl 80. Str is the only one i can think of. And fth cause it only need 30 points. Str can 2h its weapon and get a higher AR. dex can’t do that, so you would have to raise dex and sacrifice vit or end. Same with int.

Well but at least they are easier to make. It's true that they'll have low end or vit. So should Dex and Int be lowered to 30? I don't know if they'll would be powerful enough but I think it's the best way to go.

I'd like to point out that the Gravelord Sword is ridiculously good for low levels. It's scaling is awful, but it's base damage is good enough for it to still mess things up.

This is of course assuming that you don't want to use an elemental weapon for some reason.

Yes the Gravelord Sword and the GLGS are very good with low stats, that's why I said low scaling weapons happy .

Mhm, it's damage is comparatively low, but it just encourages you to not try to trade hits and instead take opportunities.

Plus, it gives you the opportunity to toxify turtles big grin

Idk it doesnt look quite feasible to me Possibly lowering the dex too 20 would allow for a little more for casting. then you would have slower casting and be far more reliant on buffing. (I think staying in the ooacile catalyst range is probably best in terms of value for levels, anyone tried great soul arrows in PvP?)

I think you’re trying to do something impossible. You can’t do an sl 80 dex/int build. You would not get enough dex, not enough int, not enough vit.

Also low Dex spells are *** slow. They rarely connect.

Yes. Thats why int builds for sl 80 wont work well unless you use the MLGS and the other int weapons. You can’t have a caster.

I think you good sir are a pessimist! bearing in mind that because most builds of that level are elemental you are looking at slightly less damage a hit so hopefully lower vitality. 25 int is good ish because of the ivory catalyst even if soul spear is noticeably absent... 30 end with RoFaP provides 160 stamina which is bearable. and yeah its difficult but doable I think...

For sl 80 the only builds that are "good" are elementals, low scaling, str, int warrior. I can’t think of much else that would be viable.

I did one spur. It sucks though very low Vit and End. 45 Dex and 36 Int (for Soul Spear).

    http://tinyurl.com/6pwcvaq

There, wog to fend off instakill backstabs, dmb to demolish while its active, menue swap to a lightning kat when the buff fades. Can drop dex to 25 and put them in vit, or wear lighter armor and cut end by 5.

EDIT Force would work better for deflecting bs attempts because you get more, but they don't do damage either.

Does it work? I did a int for sl 80, with 44 int and 16 dex. Then i noticed that it wasn’t working and moved it to sl 120.

@Forum I would lower Dex to minimum and use a Washing Pole. That one gets bad scaling I think.
