Great Hammer Class Prototype

Basic Pure Str build. Minimum Str to 2 hand the Smough's Hammer and 1 hand the Dragon Tooth. Suggestions on armors open.

Rank 1 and 2. Must begin their training with the light large club and club.

Rank 3. Great Club wielders, mace as secondary.

Rank 4. Lifehunters get to use the legendary Dragon Tooth and begin their Hand Axe training.

Rank 5. Carriers of the powerful and scary Smough's Hammer, Hand Axe masters.

Wyrm. I am not for this idea but i will help you with the classes.
The Greatsword class that you posted looks more like a int than a warrior. I imagine a Greatsword class could have the GLGS as their final reward, the MLGS is more fitting for a mage warrior.

Oh yeah totally forgot I could use elementals, but I don't wanted to sacrifice too much Str so I stick to the Int path.

Also how does the hand talk wyrm? Im trying to dialogue him/ her now.

Your katana Prototype, wyrm...with Doughguy's suggested changes plus 99 humanity. Already built and testing now.

I don't like helmets...but it looks better then thief mask. and if i had to wear real armor...it would be blk knight. First vader, pyro spammer, DEAD

Rank 3. The Abominations begin to learn the ways of the Occult and their mastery of archery. They are equipped with a Occult Black Bow of Pharis.

Rank 4. Lifehunters use the powerful Occult Composite Bow.

Rank 5. The Paladins honor our general Gwyndolin by wielding the Darkmoon Bow.

Armor suggestions. I don't know what secondary weapons an archer must use so the suggestion is open too. I think the Darkmoon Bow caps at 40 Faith but it has horrible scaling and I must test it in game. If such then Faith gets lowered to 30.

I believe Longbowmen traditionally had shortswords as a side weapon, but I'm not sure.

I always thought it was shortsword's but they are basically the same in this game

Wyrm. There is a 14 AR difference between 30 and 40 fth. I would lower fth to 30 and put the points into end/vit. Preferably end since you have to dodge a lot as a archer, and the extra equip weight would be good.

I mean IRL I always thought marksmen used shortswords as their side arm. longswords are big and heavy. but in this game there really is not a category between daggers and long swords and the short sword is basically a long sword so pointless to use Priscilla's dagger would be about right... for a +5 maybe?

I love cosplays but I'm trying to make the classes to be PvP viable. I'm asking what secondary weapon could be the most effective at close range (BSS could work). I'm thinking a spear can work too.

@Spur I wanted the higher rank of the Greatsword Class to be able to wield the MLGS. Maybe I can make them hold the Stone Greatsword, although I won't go past the minimum two handed Str.

I would advocate BSS (even though I'm not a member) great weapon.
you are really punishing people with the divine shortbow though even with those stats the normal probably does better work. (occult gives 10% damage bonus I believe on hosts. anyone able to confirm this? )

I like the Longbowman Idea.... Will consider making.

The occult thing is just a rumor. I just confirmed that the scaling on the Darkmoon Bow is very bad so the Faith will be lowered to 30. I hope they can still do 200 minimum damage per arrow with all bows. The Black Bow of Pharis needs 18 Dex so we need a high Dex requirement weapon so that those points don't go to waste.

What if for the lower ranks you went for a kind of buffing greatsword with magic trick and then gave them the MLGS. so stuff like a CMW bastard sword to begin with. as for the bows, its a tough one.

CMW + Bastard Sword is way better than the MLGS. I want all ranks to be balanced and the gifts to be cosmetic.

If you make them use the BBoP then they will not win anything. Its draw speed is horrendous.
