Invaded in the forest got backstabbed.
so used to being 1HKO'ed that I was watching the other hunter fight on and didnt realise my character had got back up until the host hit me again xD

My best move is going to get a drink and coming back, having been invaded in the meantime i always seem to return just as they swing at me. Cue panic one handed play spilled drink and me dead. I would be better off just standing still and taking the creep death over the flailing one handed **** fighter death. The guy thinks im rubbish now

Oh god I have done that too. although I usually get back in time to see the death not do anything about it... although If you want to get a reversal in there stand still next time you invade them. they will rush thinking its a free kill
and nah I'm sure everyone has been caught out like that at some point...
back when I white phantom'd I had to save my host from a similar fate. the other guy didnt seem to understand the whole gota go through me thing...

Im playing through in tandem with my buddy, and he's a shield turtle pyro bland build guy. I went with the no vit no end all dex all int glass assasin mage.

I can 1 ko back stab almost anyone but i cannot go toe to toe. I also dont use a shield so ive become a real sneaky ***. Everyone will hate me for this but i tend to hide in a chameleon spell when we get invaded, and while hes fighting i slink out to kick some back. Call me a pirate but... im a pirate.

Happens to me too. And, the reverse happens. I BS them, their health is gone, I do the bow animation. They get up and BS me during the animation.

The opposite happens to me frequently.

Last night I invaded into a 3v1. I got off a couple rolling BS and then the host scored a BS on me, the host dropped a prism stone on me then

I got up with 5 hp left and cast WoG killing one phantom and the host. Then returned the gesture.

having a stone dropped on you must have knocked you back into conciousness obviously
