It looks to be the same sort of pre-planned DLC like in New Vegas, where the west side of the map was blank and various access points were blocked on release. I'm happy to buy legit DLC that follows on to a successful game, but this type just feels like you're being ripped off because they purposefully withheld it on release.

I know where your coming from as my views are pretty much on par with yours, although let us not forget who we are dealing with here.

It may be a great game although CAPCOM are the Westerns version of EA...

Also, if anyone wants to check out/use my pawn, he is Torgo (and my psn is befowler). I think he's level 43 atm, sorceror with an array of upgraded artillery spells like meteors and maelstroms, and some buffs. Pretty good upgraded gear too. What distinguishes him a bit from the usual sorceror is that he spent part of his life as a fighter, so he has better hp and defense than a pure mage, and also some good core skills like damage resist and additional carrying capacity. He also has one of the high level sorceror skills that reduces his casting time, which makes quite a difference in frag rate. Most importantly, I designed him to look, sound, and act like freakin' Torgo:

So last night I managed to hire a level 111 sorceror with my level 44 main. It cost 0 RC. I think what happened is that I had hired this sorceror pawn back when the game first started, and had her in my favorites. So now I can rehire her for free whenever I want or something, even though her owner appears to have played the game 24 hours a day since release. It's kinda broken, she has over 3000 hp, what looks like endgame artifact equipment, and a magic attack rating of over 1300. Took 2/3s of a troll's life bar with a single lightning strike. It made my own sorceror pawn utterly superfluous and kinda embarrassing, so I turned him back into a mage for the healings.

I know you can also hire your PSN friends pawns for free regardless of level. It may have been that.

I know I shouldn't find this funny but I do for some strange reason.

I had one guy I met on a different site and we change our GT and pawns names.
He is Level 152 Mage and before we came friends over XBL it would have cost me 26.473.722RC to hire him and my pawn is level 108.
I think the pricing is a little bit high although I understand why,has befowler statement clearly highlights.
Some times having a high level pawn in a low level game spoils the fun.
My Sorcerer will take a normal giant golem down in one hit, honest it is stupid.

By the way I finished the game last night 3am UK time.
May I just say one word.....Epic.
I envy those yet to finish this game,as you have it all to come...enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm not friends with the owner of this level 111 pawn, I think I just got lucky hiring her at some point right at the start of the game.

Is there a level cap on pawns? Level 152 sounds insane.

No there is no cap sad
Although on the search it only shows you 99~

When I got to the back end of the game I had some low level pawns with me and I could see and tell they were finding it hard to keep up.

My point is I do not know if the games difficulty goes off the level your pawns are or it just gets a bit harder towards the end.

I am on NG+ now and while it is not entirely a walk in the park it does seem a bit easier.

Oh yeah before I go I have a great tip for NG+ players.

Instead of taking that chance of escorting a person to a destination and he/she getting killed in the process.(There goes your chance of the achievement for all quest completed).
What I did was see on the board where he/she needs to go?,then go there and drop a teleport crystal down.Warp back take the quest and warp back to destination.

I know it sound a lot of messing about although it is 100% save.

Well they did enough damage so it dropped to the floor and its eye came out so we all waded in and kicked the living day lights out of it.

I honestly do not even know what its weak points are a part from the center eye.
But may be it needs to be put to the floor before this comes attackable?.

When you slay a drake and in its dieing breath it say`s the following "the seat of god awaits beyond"

After finishing the game it becomes so much clearer to what he is saying,at first I thought it was just non irrelevant muttering....but its not.

I also see a lot more on my second play through,I believe a lot of this story is like DkS.
As in it is in the back ground for you to find. (opinion).

I have just slay ed a Drake as a fighter and I believe it to be a lot harder then when I was a Assassin or Strider, you would not think this to be the case with the Fighter being a mêlée class although it just was really hard being up close and in the Drakes face.

Finding the fighter class very much fun to play, its a lot different then the other classes I have played were I mainly took the enemy on from afar.

Game could be alot better with a higher difficulty imo, fun for about 36 hours or so, still worth playing 8/10
