I know you have all heard plenty of this whining before, and I don't want to give the wrong impression as a new member in the forums, so I promise this will be my one and only. Thank you.

I have been invading as a Darkwraith for the past couple hours in the Kiln and man, it sucks. I have been TWOP triple teamed, attacked while bowing, chain backstabbed, been attacked from behind while spawning, etc. I thought this used to be the place where you could have a good, fair fight..... now it is just dirty gangbang city. It just irks me that I can't go looking for pvp in the Kiln anymore without ending up as a soul farm animal. Sigh.... what shall one do?

Try invading in Undead Burg/Painted World, you may have more luck there.

Last time I checked, as Suggested above the PW and Burg are a bit better, but they have their annoying moments as well. Actually the Catacoms isn't a bad place to invade if I remember correctly.

Leave the Kiln, leave the Kiln as soon as possible.

The forest, for all its problems, is more fun than that hollowed-out shell of a PvP arena.

    Coming from a fellow Darkwraith...

We are invaders...that is what we do.

That being said, expect them to try WHATEVER possible to win against you. Often times the cheap tactics are employed by people who have not put enough time into the game yet and as such use the strategies which require less practice. We will ultimately face these players quite often.

Now to answer your question "What shall I do?"

Head on over and contribute to my (our) Stop The Hate thread. It has some insight into how to deal with these people.

The Kiln has been a gank spot for a lil while now so as others say leave it be. In October when it meant something to be there it was super legit (I was getting owned...alot lol). You would play these guys with incredible patience and resilience.

So in summation, invade a different area or fight fire with fire.

Thanks for the input guys. I went to the Burg and had quite a few honorable fights via invading/RSS. There was only ONE instance of cheapness. I walk down the steps from the bonfire and bow to my opponent, who returns the bow. His friend then surprises me from his hiding spot(the little room with the locked door) with a nice, friendly backstab. I now know not to stand there again. It lined up perfectly for them, because I was an idiot, and they got me good. It was pretty comical in all honesty. happy

When faced with such a situation as this my friend I tend to do what as been quoted, move onto a different area.
To be honest where ever you invade from time to time you are going to come across game play such as this......
Best thing I find is to learn from my mistake and there`s if any were made and invade someone else and put the last invasion down to a learning experience.
Sometimes its good sometimes it stinks......
    Good Hunting fellow Darkwraith.
