What is the best areas for sl 120? im trying the kiln and it takes a while to find someone.. any place where i can invade or get invaded a decent amount?

Burg, bonfire before centipede demon, forest..
But its odd you say it takes a while at kiln, for me is the fastest place to have invasions in the game at that level. Do you have a dried finger?

Burg is my favorite low level spot. The opponents seem generally more skilled as well, in my opinion. And there's a lot less bull **** to deal with.

Painted world is a very good spot. Burg as well. For both of those, most of the players are fun and most have pretty cool builds. Either one works.

I guess most people have stopped invading in the Kiln hoping for duels. I don't blame them, I did myself because all I ran into were farmers. I can stand in the kiln now, in human form, for a while and not get invaded. (At SL120 and with a ton of sin, too!)
In the Burg, though? I get invaded constantly! And when I'm not invaded, I put my RSS down and get summoned pretty quickly. And I haven't really had any negative experiences so far. Definitely check out the Burg.

I wish there was more variety in terms of soul level at the Burg. It's my favorite spoy, but it's dead past around 140 for me.

I don't really have any toons above SL120. I have a 427, but he doesn't get any play time anymore. Other than that, the only reason I ever create new characters is to make a build, and I'm so methodical about them that I wouldn't even dream of raising them past 120! And, personally, I find 120 is too high for Dark Souls as it is. I'd rather the dueling "level cap" were something around 80-90, or 99, rather than 120. That would really force people to make some sacrifices in their builds.

I completely agree with that. I prefer to darkwraith though, so being at a low level and invading up puts me at a disadvantage sometimes. Darkmoon isn't bad at lower levels, but for me there's way more action as a DW, and I tend to go where the action is. Haha.

We're in agreement there also! I've tried DM a few times, and it was just so slow to invade people. Darkwraith, on the other hand, if I'm level-appropriate for the area, I can invade back to back in seconds. My SL30 in Sen's and SL80 in Lost Iz have no wait time when I want to invade. There's such a rift between invading and dueling, though. I enjoy balancing both. Invading, for me, is about the thrill of the hunt (and the occasional trolling ). Not so much about the fight... because they're usually disappointing! And my heart's not really into killing a host who's PvEing--I'll usually kill his phantoms, and play with the host until he whittles me down and kills me. And dueling is for having good fights.

Depends what kind of action you're looking for. For invading, I get constant invasions with very little wait time as a Darkwraith. Whenever I tried joining the DM covenant, I got very, very little action. But if you're looking for duels, you can just drop your RSS in the Burg (or host) and you'll get summoned regardless of your covenant.

I know, right? As a low level DW I don't even get the "Searching..." message. It goes straight to invading. LOVE it.
And to clarify on the covenant issue, as a Darkwraith you can invade anyone at your level all the way up to max level. As a Darkmoon, they have to be within 10 levels + 10% of your level. This makes the invasion qualifications much narrower than it would as a Darkwraith. It's probably a good idea to start in Darkmoon if you're new to PvP because you don't have to be in human form to invade, so you can't be invaded by other people, which also means it wont cost you any humanity. And if you don't win the fight, you wont lose your humanity and souls, and you wont have to run back to your bloodstain to get 'em back.

All or nothing forest is always fun, and your guaranteed invasions, just be ready for a gauntlet that may take anywhere from 20min-2hours

Forest Guardian is a great covenant for PvP at all levels. Best part is you dont loose anything, you can do it from anywhere and you just return to where you were after victory (or back to last bonfire after defeat). Downside is the forest gets pretty nutty, not uncommon to have duels, 3vs3s or anything in between.
