The Sever is a beastly thing...

Too right this little baby is. I never really got into the whole Murakumo curved greatsword thing, but since Wyrm reminded me of its existance I have falled passionately in love with this occult killing machine.

So as usual I'me Gravelording, this time in the Depths, and I get two almost simultaneous SoV invasions. Now obviously they're going to help each other. They do. And I'm onyl testing out my new +10 Server. They decide to do the oldest trick in the book both run around different sides of me and go for the backstab.

As I remember Tolvo mentioning once the value of the curved greatsword isn't in its locked on state but its free wielding state. So I R2 the guy on the right, a horizontal charging attack, catch him for 300+ Damage then R2 again in the opposite direction catching his mate for slightly less.

Both get stunned an try to run. You know what happens when enemies try to run away from you right? And in that short time I was entranced by the weapons moveset and sheer stopping power.

Its just me and my Server against the world!

Oh it will be a clash of wills in our duel. It fits so well with a Gravelord theme I just had to have it.

Oh and by the way. Can I write a piece for the lore behind our conflict wherein my new gravelord mets Oscar II and Siefer, who is killed at the latters hands (as Nito now sees him as a threat).

It was bound to happen. Siefer went mad and betrayed his allies. Thus Nito sends his Hand and executioner to deal with him.

You said he was to be misery given form or something? name him company. Cause then Misery loves him. On a more serious note "Dolor". Latin for misery or grief.

Invest a little more in STR and go with the Murakumo, the range on that beast will def be a payoff.

Thanks for the advice on the str investment but I'll pass. It doesnt look as cool or fit in with the theme of my build unfortunately.

good to know that my weapon of choice for my new GL build is something good. i was a little worried about its usefulnesses since i picked it based on looks

Viral I need this exact curved sword for my pyro build. If you upgrade it to Chaos, it changes it's item description!!!! The sword is very mysterious and is perfect for a dark character.

i am in love with the build im making right now that is based around the murakumo and chaos blade. it is tricky to perfect the non lock on attacks but its really essential to that weapon. this is like the third time ive poseted this build but hey im in love :oops: http://tinyurl.com/7dxz9f8

it also has that badass snake etched into the blade! its life steal effect though minimal is nice and does work during bs's. a build i was considering was a server wielding guy with sanctus 2000 hp and repenishment miracles, it'd be very hard to kill...

Put on Evil Eye if doing PvE, and use replenishment if PvE or PvPing. The mass of health you receive will be great for you. Having a curved greatsword on your left hand swings faster than your right, remember that.

holy **** cook! i just tryed out the murakumo in my left hand that thing is deadly. it looks bad *** on my back when i 2h the chaos blade too.

I ahd an egg at that time as well. My build look good with my server:

Crimson Glove
Holy Hood (if not an egg)
Holy Trousers
Hard Leather Armor
Red and White Round Shield

Ya. it was fun. Then I substituded my egg for dragon body. It was a big mistake.

Smough's hammer drains 10 HP with each hit. I use it along Sanctus to minimize Power Within HP drain. Still thinking if investing 6 points for Replenishment for battles when not using Power Within.

WAIT WHAT? smoughs hammer drains hp! holy cow i never knew that! i had a smough hammer build but i never looked at the hp after a hit much....

Yeah you don't notice because of the low heal per second (most enemies die with 2 hits of the hammer anyway).
