Best Boss Soul Weapon?

Which boss soul weapon is the best in dark souls?? Leave your choice and the reason for it.

I'd say the dragonbone fist is by far the most fun, but in terms of usefulness I'd have to say Quelaag's furysword is probably one of the best given the relatively low stat requirements and relatively high damage (with some humanity of course).

I use Queelags Furysword but there's alot of haters out there hahaha

golem axe, looks like a greataxe swings like a regular axe and the force move is just awesome. also anyone notice that most weapon classes have boss weapons except for whips, talismans, hammers, greataxes and straight swords? (oh and ultra greatswords)

i love the golem axe too, it's actually a boos version of a battle axe, people always think its a great axe but its not. the wind move its awesome i love knocking people on their *** with it, cracks me up every time i do it.

Actually I think you use a hammer with smoughs soul. Is the Chaos blade any good??

smoughs hammer is a Greathammer not a hammer like the morning star... why no hammer made from the stray demons soul or something? or say a straight sword that scales a b in str made from the gaping dragons soul?

I actually like the Great Lord Greatsword a lot. Granted, it's a bit disappointing when you first get it expecting a Northern Regalia, but once you get over the fact that it's not OP, it's a very nice weapon. Very low stats requirements to wield it 2-handed, and pure physical damage. I like to co-op with it on my SL30 toon.

Idk, a weapon made from the gaping dragon would be pretty sweet though

you get the demon great hammer from killing the demon in the begining so you dont really need a soul, its not that good compared to how much it weights, its a little weaker than the GC which is a shame, at least it should have an A in str. and yeah the tail weapons for str builds dont even scale with str, lame.

would love a boss or dragon whip weapon, NO! a chaos whip made from a soul from ceaseless discharge! pure fire damage scaling with humanity and str. its special would be a strong sweep that leaves lava behind (think whip 2handed r2 but with a lava geyser at the end!)

yeah a chaos whip or sumthin would be pretty awesome! i also think that making unique armor from boss souls would be cool

I like that idea!

Really my only complaint with Dark Souls is the limited armor options. You only have Light and Heavy. Chain Mail should be Medium armor, not Heavy.

Of course, I still only have 1 main toon, and it was my first Souls playthrough ever. Needless to say, many mistakes were made, and now I have some troubles because I found my play style, but my character doesn't entirely fit it....

Oh well, time for a new one! *impending dread* lol

there's light med and heavy armor and im happy with the amount of armors in the game.

I heard the Greatsword of Artorias was really good. I think I'll use Sif's soul for that.

Combat Effective? Three way tie for me.

MLGS/GLGS, Stunlocking, good damage.
Dragonslayer Spear, decent damage, amazing range and speed.

Style?

Dragon Bone Fist, goes without saying.

And now for my shocking revelation of best boss weapon......

Lifehunt Scythe because it looks awexome and tears enemies a new one

Depends on what it's used for & who's wielding it. Tin Darkmoon Catalyst for a faith type that wants to use some mage spells, Darkmoon bow for a powerful faith scaling bow for relatively low cost, Lifehunt Scythe for style/range & a nasty bleed effect, Dragon Bone Fist for style/swag, Smough's Hammer for raw power, Golem Axe for the AOE, or Great Lord Greatsword for stunlocking.

I personlly think Quelaag's Furysword is extremely overrated in terms of usefulness & practicality while the Artorias weapons require to much investment in different stats.

Oh, I like Artorias a lot, too. Even when I wield it at base, even though it's somewhat wasted potential not to take advantage of its scaling, it's got better range than other greatswords. Range is more important than a little more damage, in my opinion. Also, 140 divine rating = great for catacombs.

Edit: plus, Artorias is one sexy sword.

First, I think one of the good points of DS is the fact that boss weapons aren't overpowered, and different people find different weapons better for them (not only among boss weapons, but all of them). Same thing with armors and shields.
A part from havel+mask users, it's rare to find 2 people using the exact armor pieces/weapon/shield/ring combo, and that's awesome

As for me, I like the Lifehunt Scythe a lot. I just made the Chaos Blade but never used it yet, so I can't say.. being mostly a katana user I'm very curious about it.
I use Artorias Sword when going to New Londo because, I don't know why, but I'm always short of transient curses Also, my friend uses the Artorias shield since the first minute he made it and is very happy with it.
I also noticed a lot people killing me with the Dragonslayer Spear...

Quelaggs's Furysword .I love that weapons because it is fast for me, Takes alot for dmg And it got the most awsome design. Together whit my New Black Knight Armor it looks so cool. But when first got the Quelagg soul i just spent it for souls then later when my friend got to level 54 he gave me hees Quelagg soul and now he regrets it

in terms of PvP my favorites are DSS and the lifehunt scythe. for PvE my favorites are the furysword and the golem axe. the DBF wins hands down in terms of awesomeness

On female characters I tend to wear chain armor cause it shows off her "b-cup". Does that make me a perv?
