by cheyneboy Wed Mar 06, 2013 10:28 pmI'm currently on NG+ and defeated Ornstein and Smough. I just noticed that I had used the Iron Golem core to produce a Golem Ax after 1st playthrough. I have a Caestus +10 to turn into a Dragon Boon Fist. Guess what, there is no Iron Golem core to be found anywhere. I was able to defeat the Iron Golem in no time! Anyone with any idea what could have happened? Thanks to all in advance!

Tarkus is known to sometimes hold onto that soul for himself if he feels like he did all the work while fighting Iron Golem. Your best bet is to invite him to dine with you in celebration of your "shared" victory at the main hall in Anor Londo. Get him drunk and then whack him mafia style by sneaking your crew in through that stupid looking painting while his back is turned. Leave his body for the rats. Nobody holds out on the chosen undead and gets away with it.
