    hey every1 cheers i know drs can be stressing and sometimes it can make u wanna pull your hair out...well iv got ADHD n i get pissed off rather faster than most people sometimes for stupid reasons... i just wanna know what are your best methords for calming yourself down apart from frowing your pad at the closest thing to u silly

    Breathing exercise. If you start getting frustrated, lean back, close eyes, and deep slow breaths for 30 seconds.

    Rule Number 1. Never throw your pad at the T.V. I trained myself early on to throw it at the carpet. I did once throw my spectacles at the wall though and bent them.

    I play while riding a stationary bike, and find that those post-death load screens are a great moment to just yank on the handlebars and peddle really fast for a few moments. Burns off some of the frustration if it was a bad one.

    Ok ... I was in the great hollow. I was trying to get the cloranthy ring for the first time. Got it. HWB back to the first bonfire. Decided to go and hunt down the lizards. Managed to kill some and then fell off from a branch but didn't die.
    Went all the way down and the baby mushrooms gangbanged me to death.
    Said... No problem, nice and easy I'll recover my stain. Suddenly, I fell again but this time I could see my toon going all the way down and die a terrible and awfull death.
    I lost 25 humanities and 500+ k souls...
    I was just sitting there in front of the tv, emotionless, i just stood up, quit the game and went to sleep.

    My advice: Leave your poor controller safely in one hand and swing your other hand, or shake a fist, or stand up and jump around, or swing and pretend you are throwing somehing, or throw something less fragile at something less fragile (a wall), or if you're a real tough one, punch something less fragile (a wall), or best solution: punch yourself. I'm not kidding with the last one. lol

    Don't punch a wall... you will regret it in the end. Punch a pillow instead, your hand will thank you, especially if you want to play again the the next week (or 6 if you happen to need a cast...)

    I do, although I admit that I will stop pedalling and standing up if I am in a particularly good/tough PvP match.

    Using a bike or a treadmill while playing is a good way for us older guys to sort of stay in shape, plus I can tell my wife "I'm going to go work out" with a straight face whenever I want to play dark souls. Marriage, like football, is a game of inches.

    Thanks SlakeMoth. He's only kind of mine now since he lives with my sister. Segue into befowler's comment, he's the only good thing that came from my first marriage which went from a game of inches to a shouting match of miles upon miles. Befowler's idea makes me think he's got it down pretty well. I used to do ab exercises while watching Mystery Science Theater. Should do that for gaming
