Engorged Zombies

this is just something nitpicky that i noticed when i was playing through the painted world. if you kill the engorged zombies with a fire weapon they don’t spew toxin all over the place. i haven’t tried any other elemental/magic weapons as i didn’t have any on at the time. i tested this with priscillas scythe and a chaos GS.
this wasn’t on the wiki so i thought i would post it

Correct. Killing them by fire is the best melee option. Or BS and run lol

The other types don't work. Atleast divine doesnt, and enchanted. I can atest to this because I have either been swinging the enchanted weapon or playing with my brother or friends who don't know you can kill them without explosions by combusting in their faces.

Somehow he always get the last hit from a distance, either with a +10 bow or his long reaching claymore and explodes them on me when I am trying to combust ....

I noticed that when I attacked them with my Chaos Ricards Rapier they didn't explode. Is that due to element or the the thrust damage thats being done?

I'm fairly sure its the elemental damage, I think I recall killing them with my chaos uchigatana and it gave the same effect.

Huh, guess I have a reason to keep a fire weapon on me now, really never knew this.

Maybe the fire consumes all the toxin. Test with lightning weapon.

The weapon should have less physical damage... A Katana will make them spew toxins anyways... Best weapon against them is the fury sword...
