Everyone who was on last night, you guys are the best!!! I had a blast, loving my 40/40
build and wow the BSS is awesome, I always thought "why do people like this?" but I am loving it.

So I wanted to use new stuff and get out of my same gettup so I discarded the DWGR and my black iron/giants setup, I wore just the giant leggings, I think thief gloves and then witch coat and for rings the ring of steel protection plus wolf ring, if anyone wants to try it out sometime.

Lots of randoms last night and hilarious conversations @ chat, I am sorry I had to leave for a while to help my cousin with pve, he will join us soon at pvp sessions after training him a bit so you guys don't make him go SPLAT too hard

Yeah, we had a lot of randoms last night. It was kinda cool. W owned me with his spear. I really suck against spears, my worst weapon by far, so it was good for practice.

I'll be back tonight. Hopefully I'll do better. If I do, you guys better watch out.

Whoehahaha u forgot me!!! Maybe i come to tonight.. If my gf fels a sleep i will join. Be awere or should i be?

Mildred was the one who I heard mention it first. I have mine completed, but still upgrading weapons for it. I am looking forward to not upgrading weapons anymore and just having time to enjoy FC. I am still enjoying my completed strength and elemental builds though.

Im pro to for fighting with your favo weapon but basic

Hey everyone sorry for showing up so late. I am a bit busy with the Lifehunters. I modified the Firstborn build, I exchanged the robe for O's armor and the ring of the Firstborn for the RoFAP. So that little change gives him more confidence and be aggressive as hell (thanks to the green blossom, he only got 25 end). But with only 19 poise he can be stunlocked to death haha. Next time I'll comeback earlier.

I would definitely say last night was interesting; I was a bit thrown off by the WOTG and Pyros. Luckily the night ended with more wins than losses. Wes really threw me off with the pyro and the spear but I’m glad I was able to adjust and win the round.



T whooped me twice with his Havel build. Once again I had to adjust and was able to land a parry for the win (I was scared of being punished if I missed but I said the hell with it it’s worth a try). Then Tolvo hammered me to death with his Smough build; Once again I was forced to rethink and adjust. Reim turned what I though was going to be a close fight into a slaughter punishing me with his Scythe..lol .. All in all some really interesting fights.

What would be the benefit of this build? Is it just a "weapon master" build specific for FC, or is there some weapon that would scale with both STR/DEX?

Also: how does one "join" up on the Official FC Chat? Do you have to be invited? I've got my SL 120 STR build finally finished, so I want to come down to FC... Is it everyday now, or still on Saturdays?

Hello SATLOS. You are correct, this build allows you to use the majority of weapons in the game. It also makes the weapons with split stat scaling viable. Most participants in FC do not use magic, so this build allows the player to try different weapons and styles.

One of the admins of FC should be able to add you to the official chat.

It's also a deceptively powerful build. 40 Str/ 40 Dex will get the majority of the Stat scaling out of most weapons, almost maxing their physical AR. And focusing on one attack type is much stronger than splitting your AR into two attack types. So despite not taking advantage of buffing spells, that build is actually very powerful.

It's also versatile, allowing you to use almost any weapon on a whim, so you won't get bored with it!

You're right about the "bored" factor... After watching some of the earlier FC videos, I went STR with the Great Club, but most of my invasions boil down to those who know how to punish the rolling 2H R1 pound (BS) and those who do not ("Target Destroyed").

I'd still like to try this against you guys and get better with it, but I'll start working on the Weapon Master build on the side.

yeah ill be on in a little while to mess around with havel some more, the worst about him is that his tooth dosent stun loc and it only swings in a downward vertical motion instead of a nice horizontal arch that traditonal ultra great swords and great axes do.
