    Fight Club XBOX360 SL120 Empty Fight Club XBOX360 SL120

Post by Shindori Fri Jul 13, 2012 1:32 pm

    Current Status: PERMACLOSED
(will be switched to open/close depending on if someone is hosting or not)
    Host: ShindoriH

    Area: Painted World of Ariamis

    Welcome to Fight Club.

First rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club.
Second rule is you do NOT talk about Fight Club.
Now, I know you're all aching to get into it with as many as possible, so word is bound to spread. Do so only to those you know will follow the rules.

Third rule, if someone Fight Club XBOX360 SL120 3510096238or Fight Club XBOX360 SL120 1330857165, fight is over.
Fourth rule, only two people to a fight, guys.
Fifth rule, no cheap tactics, such as WoG spamming, Crystal Homing Soul Mass or Crystal Soul Arrows. If you choose to use these, give it a cooldown time of at least 10 seconds.
Sixth rule, no masks or or overpowered sets. Be creative. If we want to see gankers, we'll go to the forest.
Seventh rule, No backstab fishing, chaining or such. Only backstab if you see an opening, but don't try to go for a backstab the whole fight. Parries, however, are more than welcome.
Eighth rule, Buffs will be applied BEFORE bowing.
Ninth rule, healing is only allowed AFTER the fight is over.
Tenth rule, all types of weapons allowed EXCEPT for the Stone Guardian Sword. If we want to walk slowly, we'll over encumber.
Eleventh rule, do not, under any circumstances, attack the host, unless challenged by the host with a Fight Club XBOX360 SL120 3596227959. I can chain like it's nobodies business, and will not hesitate to do so if you attack without proper warning.
Twelfth rule, you must lay down a red sign in the arena/Colosseum near the rubble to be summoned. the level cap is 120, so I'm pretty sure it will show up. Don't try the whole invasion thing or you will NOT be summoned to fight.
And finally, if this is your first night, you HAVE to fight.

Your host will be yours truly, gamertag ShindoriH.
In time, those who wish will be able to host as we get more members.
They might seem like a lot of rules, but they're all pretty basic and nothing that most people with honor don't already do.
Keep it fair, keep it clean, and keep it entertaining.

Also, send me or the host at the moment a message on XBL to let us know you're there waiting to be summoned. I don't wanna be there waiting on end just to get invade and lose all my humanities, lol.

I'd use the hell out of it against players who buff. Excuse me while I equal my damage output.

I used to use it in the forest against gankers but then i found myself BS fishing and parry spamming so i stopped using it. You make a good point though Damage.

I only use it in ganks primarily. But if someone buffs, especially in an FC type scenario, expect the hornet.

Yuhp. No greass Crest Shield. The boost that it gives to stamina recovery is just too evident, and poses a rather obvious advantage in battle. Since the ring doesn't do much effect, I'll allow that.

That's ridiculous, in my opinion. You can wear the ring for it, but you can't use a shiled that does exactly the same thing?

..Come to think of it you're right. Scratch that ring as well, but only that ring. I see no other ring that should be scratched, or equipment aside from the mentioned ones, unless you guys have any suggestions?

I would suggest banning just the family masks...all rings and GC shield is fine.

    My 2 cents.

Well see the only problem is that it would be, in my opinion, unfair for someone to have to use an item for a buff that would last a minute or so while someone has the same permanent buff. I want everything to be evened out.

There's a huge difference between a small boost in stamina regen and adding 350-400 DMG to a weapon though.

Do not get me wrong I love the idea and its good to know you are giving some thought into fairness.
Although if you were to ban the shield and grass it would then push you in the direction of trading off a ring slot for your stamina boost or keeping something else which may in effect andy-cap you if you are fighting someone who is wearing the Cloranthy ring.
So my point is this would be defeating what you are trying to achieve...fairness.

But if all this is going to happen on all platforms XBL and PS III count me in......

Can't understand why you're banning "buffs" for stamina regen, but weapon buffs are allowed. I'm assuming the build you intend to use is built for buffs, which is why you included them and the stipulation that people get to buff before bowing, completely unchallenged. How is that balanced?

Dude let everyone use stamina regen. You are making Dex > Str. Strength requires way to much stamina, while Dex does not.

I would. Or kick punish. I've been getting increasingly more annoyed by parry spam lately. I think it was triggered by a fairly prominent YouTuber who posted a "montage" of fights where he would parry fifteen to twenty times per fight, and sort of edited it in a way that gave me the impreasion he thought he was a boss at parries.

In my opinion, people who are genuinely good at parries can throw it out once in a fight, and that one parry connects about a third of the time. When you're good at it, you know when to throw one out and when to sit on it. Rant, for example, is particularly good at parrying, and he wont try it more than two or three times in a fight. But I'll be damned if he still doesn't catch people a lot.

Why are buffs applied before bowing? That's unfair, buffing is part of the duel.
