by I'm in Anor Londo. Just past the 2 Halberd knights and the 3 Demonslayer spear people. I go down the walkway to the next set of Demonslayer spear enemies (after that is the Archers). When I'm going down the walkway, I take damage near the end. It happens randomly, but it is really common. It is not an invader. I don't see any arrows.

You can get killed on that platform by the left archer, maybe your graphics are glitching and not showing the arrow itself?

I don't even get knocked back. I am running and take damage. Even when I have 0 poise.

Yeah this happens to me too. I also saw a video of someone also randomly taking damage.

i happens to me quite a bit also but i just don't really pay attention most of the time to notice the missing health (as my health is never actually full half the time) :oops:

This happens to me almost everytime. I think it happens when you sprint. Maybe you go down the ramp so fast that the takes it as a drop and you take damage.

This happens a lot to me too, though usually it's when im a phantom not the host, but maybe i just rush and care less for my health as a white phantom butid like to know why exactly it happens :|

Has started happening to me too, in the Parish. I was running up from the sunlight altar bonfire, and as I ran through that narrow hallway leading into the boar's area, I randomly got knocked sideways against the wall and took damage. I was a phantom at the time, and there were no enemies around and the boar was dead. We also had not been invaded.
Shortly thereafter, the host and other phantom ran up the next set of stairs and ran right through the down portcullis, which I couldn't pass through. It was lifted in their worlds, and lowered in mine. Weird session all around.

I have been hit by phantom damage in the parish as well. Boar was dead but the animation was like I was hit by the boar. Happened on 2 different occasions. I was a phantom both times.

I lost some 200k souls by that damn glitch damage in anor londo.
I think its some kind of fall damage or something, still its damn anoying.

I actually watched this same exact thing happen to a phantom earlier today we couldn't figure out why his health dropped by a noticeable chunk either archers were still alive but arrows weren't hitting us from that far away yet so I guess it's one of those unanswered things.

My bet is on fall damage. I've had the same thing happen to me. It also happens in Kiln when you run down on the slopes.

I've actually tested before with the Sorcery to Negate Fall damage and it stopped happening, I'm pretty sure it is fall damage since that spell negated it.

Yup, started happening to me in Anor Londo a few weeks ago. Happens in about the same 2 spots every time so I started rolling through those areas and it doesn't happen anymore.

I noticed it a while ago and tried walking down the slope and that fixed it. Going off of Tolvo's findings, I'd say it's fall damage so just make sure you take that last bit slowly or use the sorcery.
