can you glitch kill

ceaseless discharge still? i've tried like 15x's and haven't had him fall what gives i've watched the youttube

I haven't had any success the last few times. He pulls up short just spams the fire blast rather than following me all the way.

If you're taking him on for a second time and he aggros you as soon as you pass through the gate, you need to run all the way back to the altar that had the Gold Hemmed Robes first, and then all the way back to the fog gate to get him to make the jump, being sure to use the middle shortcut both ways. Otherwise he will see you too early and start ranged-spamming instead of jumping. And by the way, it's not a glitch kill. It was a legitimate way to beat him that was planned by the developers, otherwise he wouldn't have an animation for his leaping attack that puts him over the edge, and idle pose that has him hanging to the wall, or a special death animation of falling into the pit

I didn't know that, I always killed him by hitting his arm.

Actually yeah, this should probably be locked since glitching isn't to be talked about on the forusms but I'm a little :drunken: to approrpiate things.

It's not a glitch... it's part of the game. I don't know why people think it's a glitch. He jumps at you, hangs on, you hit his hand and then he falls into the abyss. It's obviously a scripted event, especially since his health depletes before actually falling.

As far as getting this after aggroing him the first time, all I did was run to the shortcut, cast flash sweat, and then went the long way around to the beginning of the level. If I took the shortcut both times he'd just spam his fire attack.

i thinks its just kinda random, and yes i agree this isn't a glitch i just titled this thread that b/c everyone knows what i mean when i say that. and i say his attack seems random cause when it finally worked for me i ran back to the armor set area and then ran back but I "did" take the shortcut both ways, and it finally worked. so im not sure what his tactics quite are but i'm glad he's done with *)

It's because he goes back for you while you wait. On my run I didn't want to wait for him to get to me so I just went to the shortcut, cast flash sweat and then went around the long way. Both accomplish the same thing, I think it has to do w/ him turning around, but I'm not sure.
