You can only invade as a human as a darkwraith
as a darkmoon you can invade as a hollow.
Generally darkwraiths invade more easily than Darkmoons because of easier requirements but it is not always the case.
You're right in a sort of accidental way with your OP

Only dm can invade as a hollow.....maby hunters? but not to my knowledge. The only parameters i know of are sl, wether or not the boss is alive, how "close" to other players you are, wether or not they're human, and the rings (where applicable)

Hunters, Darkmoons, and Dragons can invade as hollows. Dark Wraiths, and Cracked orb users must be human. Dark Wraiths and Orbs have less requirements and an upwards invasion so typically it is easier to invade. However the forest is always full of enemies so the fastest invasions in the game is as a hunter, which one can be human or hollow for.

well where have you been invading? anor's turned pretty dead for PvP recently to be honest, though i usually hang out in the kiln and hope for the best to be honest

the shorter lock on in dark AL always was a pain, i think most people get sick of that and it will end up a ghost town.

Painted world and sens, getting like one invade every 15 minutes, the ones I have gotten have been boring. I suicided 3 times to the same guy because of flasking, so boring

People in the forest hunter Covenant actually can invade as hollows it has happened to me before. Lost the match because I spawned right next to the guy and he OHK'd me.
