For me the undead merchant female isnt selling the purging stone. I am level 32. Why is this? I have seen videos that shows her selling this item.

I am cursed and the only way to remove curse is the following:

1) Trade Cracked Red Eye Orbs with Snuggly the Crow. You get 2 purging stones for each orb.
1a) I already did this used them and I got recursed

2) Purchase from the Undead Merchant female for 6000 souls in the Firelink Shrine aqueduct
2a) She isnt selling them.

3) Purchase from Black robed man for 3000 souls after the Belfrey Gargoyles in the Undead Burg
3a) I killed him. Big mistake. Is there any way I can get him back? I don't have 70,000 souls to remove my sins.

4) Speak to Ingward in New Londo Ruins. He cures curse, and gives you the key to the lower section of the ruins if you have the Lordvessel.
4a) I have been banging my head for hours trying to do this. I keep dying because of low health being curse.

go to ash lake and farm the clams, they have a really high drop rate of purging stones.

She sells a limited amount dude. If you buy her stock out, that is it.

If you really need some purging stones,go where the guy above me said.The entrance is behind two fake wall at the bottom of blighttown in the tree on your left when you reach the swamp part(be sure to have purple moss and flowery purple moss when going through there)Then cross the great hollow and there you are.If you got too much trouble killing the clam,just let the hydra kill them for you.

yeah had the same problem... and it happened with the pardoner too... he ran out of sacrifice rings..

@Rant - Thanks for the feedback. However, I have never been to Ash Lake.

I havent been to Blighttown either. I am cursed so I cant progress and get towards the Blighttown content.

I can get to the valley of the drakes though from the darkroot garden area.

if you have the master key take the shortcut from the valley of the drakes into blighttown, you can skip the depths, make sure you grab the spider shield, you need it in blighttown if youre gonna explore there, follow dragon's instruction and you'll get there, you can also look it up on youtube, it might be easier since youve never been there it might be hard to find and the swamp sucks if you dont have the rusted ring.

That shorter then entering from the depths and you don't have to kill a boss too.Just be careful not to fall or get kill since the bonefire is quite far.

Thanks guys. I will look into this. Is getting to Ash Lake do able in my current situation? Or should I just keep banging my head trying to get to Ingward?

And why is the Spider shield important? I am using a shield that has more defence right now.

spider shield= poison defense. blight town is a poisonous swamp, walk in the sludge too long and you'll be poisoned. and there are more curse froggys in the hollow on the way to ash lake, curse stacks.

It is if you got some purple moss and you don't stop running.If you can get pass the 3 big blue monster in the tunnel from valley of drake,the rest is easy

what soul level are you and what system? I have loads of stones, if you're xbox I'll hook you up.

also if you haven't patched your game yet then that's probably why because she didn't sell pre patch...or at least im pretty sure she didn't .

Dude, on the way to reach ash like, there is a high chance you will be cursed again! I would say to you try to skip every ghost in new londo and get to ingward. Is not dificult because you can block. Just run fast and the ghost won't be able to block your way. Sorceries are good to kill them if they try to block you. I'm pretty sure you will be cursed or will fall in the great hollow, or if you reach ash lake, the hydra will kill you before you can see any giant clam.

If you follow the ash lake strategy, here's a tip. Griggs (the mage you rescue in undead burg, and then appears in firelink shrine as a vendor of magic) Can sell you a spell that reduces your damage from falling ( forgot the name right now), this would be great for the great hollow. There is a lot of armors which gives you curse resistence, search them in the wiki! Humanity also adds resistence.
