@wyrm, the environment isn't always necessary, I won a 1v3 today because i duped them into trying to bs me, then roll bsd the host for the kill.

Its more that different battle tactics are necessary, I try to think of it like i'd think of it if it were a 1v3 encounter in say starcraft or age of empires, I can't even pretend to rival their martial might, but i can trick them into leaving themselves open for a killing blow and play them against eachother to buy time or strike while they organise.

Well some weapons can't BS OHKO, like my GLGS. If you can't kill them with one BS, it is extremely difficult, unless you chain BS....

No, i sneak in running attacks or catch them in a scythe sweep so my bs is usually fatal if i land one.

I wasn't saying bsing is what its all about either though, I was saying its about Thinking like they do, then manipulating them into letting you pick them off.

Ex: letting 1 of the three circle behind you like they usually do, then roll bs him or slap him with an r2 before you roll through a gap.

By the way Wyrm, for your weapon I would advise funnelling farmers into tight areas so they will be in a straight line, then stunlocking. I've never met a camper that could parry, let alone one that could escape stunlock.

True. I can now chainlock people with my falchions. My attack patterns don't let up for a second so I'm always attacking while they are in range. Break guards and stuns light armoured enemies.

3 washing pole, eagles, mom combos, against velkas rapier with the target shield and no damaging spells.

All 3 have 1600 health, it takes 2 critical attacks to kill any 1 of them, even with pw

Where are they camping at, and what is your off hand? As well what is your poise?

41, arena or near bonfire in pw, in both cases behind the wall on each side and host in plain view.

They refuse to leave the area, and i waited for 10 min without help arriving.

Didnt think to try and get them mobbed with the skull-bait-thing. They can all outrun me though, so escape isn't really an option.

I managed to kill 1 phantom with a when he tried to heal, but otherwise all I've managed to do is drag it out.

I wouldn't ask if i knew my weapon better.

Problem is, all of them are good duelists and very dangerous alone, so fighting all three feels like trying to win a 200 meter sprint against a ferrari.

The only way to beat them other than a huge dodge competition and poke war of attrition would be to get the host to chase you up the stairs. Get them to attack, then parry riposte. Angle yourself so the phantoms can't get up the stairs, now there are two was this will go. Either, when the host gets up he will jump off the stairs, or pursue with his phantoms. Now, if you jumps off follow, land on him, and instant BS him for the kill as you can do if you fall on someone, you may need to pivot. if he pursues, back up and do the sudden run and jump, you'll land on him and staggered him and lang just behind him, it should stagger his phantoms and you can pivot BS him killing him. Either way, that scenario is absolute hell, and 98/100 times the invader would probably die with just that gear and no spells.

So I should ascend to god hood and kill them all mearly by being close to them. Good to know.


I shall one day, with pure martial prowess, kill all 3 of them. I will become a whirling vortex of rapier death and uncanny parry got if thats what it takes to put an end to that crap.

I've been trying to become Post-Human as well, sadly I'm stuck as a Trans-Human.

I am really starting to get parrying though.

It doesn't work on duelists 96% of the time but even then i catch one off guard sometimes.

The randoms are parry fodder a lot of the time now though, empty attack, empty attack, empty attack, 1325 damage.
