I've been failing terribly with my parry build tonight but I'm 9-1 with my gs.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I had some great success, but I ran into a lot of glass cannon builds which was interesting. At 30 vitality with Havels legs and gloves I got one shot by a single cast of WotG, no rtsr.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Everyone i fought has been using either an uchi, or the barbed straight sword (of all things) and i'm terrible at parrying smaller weapons. I know how but there are so many little timing differences to memorise.
with my 120 its been claymore/turtle city. I don't think i need to explain why my gs kills them.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I was just sticking around to the SL60 zone, sadly I didn't have much in the ways of Stunlocking weaponry, but I had a Rapier to make up for that. Most of my kills were from BS on the gankers, because I really had no other option for them with the toon I used.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
@TehInfamousAmos; and run feints ending in them eating a dmb gs r2 for 900 damage.
@Tolvo, none of my weapons stunlock. Velkas rapier, great scythe and iaito are all terrible stunlocking weapons.
Stunlocking weapons tend to be to slow for my taste, I grew up on demons blessed gaxe so i'm very aggressive. (dks gaxe is worthless as a weapon in my experience, never hits anything).
Thats why i use the gs alot actually, similar concept. Dodge, dodge, dodge, oops there goes half your health.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
To be fair with their set up it sounds like they were just messing around, I know people love to invade and use dung only with the boar helm and nothing else to fight people. So I wouldn't say it's exactly a good thing to just insult them as a whole on a public forum where they could read that remark. Remember, peace is paved via understanding.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
See stunlocking is just very effective against gankers, in a pretty obvious way. Many of them don't parry, and many of them have no clue how to escape. Plus most stunlocking weapons that are Great Swords are actually alarmingly fast and hit hard. Some are great for dead angling as well such as the Murakumo.
Sadly on my toon I was invading with I had a Gargoyle Halberd, and a rapier to work with. I would have much rather has some sort of spear and Ultra greatsword for the types I fought, but I managed.
I actually found one guy who waited with Chameleon on with a lightning Rapier to backstab people. I guess he didn't realize people actually pay attention and notice a sudden spike with a dead body on it where it shouldn't be haha.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
gankers get the wog-stunn bs treatment from me, 12-1400 usually.
Or dead angle themselves trying to get behind me, thats always funny.

Haha those boarbarians were fun to fight tbh, I parried the majority of them, was good practise also i messed about letting them get me to RTSR status and winning etc, although one did beat me as it was a 2v1 and i got BSed and then double fire tempest on wakeup :L

Sadly this character can't cast WotG, but when I get him to the SL200 zone, I'll be using that like crazy.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Just invaded to see a host with the fury sword charging down the bridge at me. I parried the running attack, switched velkas to 2h, 1325 damage riposte.
Target destroyed.
Also, what if instead of pointing towards pricilla, we pointing towards the bridge you start at,
ie get out of here? Pointing towards her could lead them to think we want them to kill her.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Everyone i invaded in the last hour or so is vit a build with varying +5 lightning or chaos weapons that kill half my hp in one hit.
Makes my 130ish a poke seem really pathetic. Thier r2 damage rivals my bs damage.
Any of them were good enough to avoid my constant bsing/parrying, i'd probably get demolished.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
@ Pirate let's stay with the pointing up (I really like how it looks with a sword) towards Priscilla, after all that's the only exit out of PW.
@ Tolvo I still need more practice in 2 vs 1, I guess I need to use the environment more, I just don't have the skills for 2 or 3 vs 1 battles, although I'm a fairly good dueler.
@ Rin after sending the message and knowing who the hell they were I just bowed and kill them. They bowed too so they seemed obviously part of a forum, although not very skillful players. Guess they didn't have time to make proper builds based of Fang Boars + Catarina+ Crescent Axe. It's like the cosplaying events we held here (although I would make a proper build for PvP).

It just takes some time, the PW is a pretty interesting place as you can make a lot of short circles in it and easily lose people then plot your attack.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I ran away to the house with the toxic heads and went up to the wood thingys above. The phantom and the host were right below me, I made a plunging attack but missed, the phantom didn't noticed me so I surprise BS OHKO him. The host killed me because one of the hollows were in my way and I couldn't pass, lol.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Just a heads up, if you Backstab someone on top of one of those hollows as they are dying, they will still get the toxin effect from them if they survive your BS. It still fills the bar regardless of animation.

I threw Acid Mist to a player. He stood more than 5 seconds under that cloud. His weapon never broke
