Well, my friend's Xbox just went mental, and my PS3 is locked in the grips of lag. I think I'm going to have to tap out for a bit. I'll most likely be back in about 4 hours or so. Happy hunting all.

I've decided being the lunatic I am, that I'm going to stay up the whole event! I've been invading since before it began, and I'll invade until it ends then pass out! I will not let up on them for 24 straight hours!

Well, both my consoles are down. I'm going to fix them, but I'm going to need some time to take them apart and see what's wrong. I would stay the whole time, but I... can't with out a console.

Apparently I miscalculated the map and we gravelords the only way to really get consistent EoDs in alvinas part of the forest is to be where all the signs are at near the stairs. I am going to invade a bit to see what is going on.

That's where I find the most action as a GL in the forest.

By the way keep an eye out for a dude in giants with a mask of the mother and a murakumo, he is a BS fisher. He has some bad lag too so poise breaking him is difficult when all of the sudden he teleports behind you.

Ultra do these lifehunt guys know that the GL's are our allies in the forest and a part of the event? As a GL I keep getting gang banged by guys with lifehunts and European looking names, usually I can kill one but once a second one jumps into the mix I'm dead. I've tried messaging them but either they don't understand me or are ignoring my messages. Are they just killing any and all hosts?

Im still going at it too. I don't think ultra is up now he said bye a while back.

I'm going to have to sit out from GL'ing for the event, I keep getting killed by Lifehunts while I bow, I think I'll stick to invading until I get word back from Ultra.

i had only 2 friendlies alll night as I gravelord

I'm having to fight to get in on the action. There's a lot of "host running in terror from 2 invaders" and "me winning 1v2, second invader shows up and demolishes the farmers while their hands are full" situations.

Where are all the hunters? I'm all alone here in the forest it feels like

So, last night, I was trying to farm honorably in the forest. As you can guess, that failed. Honor apparently took the night off. So, I invaded instead (got an early start).

My Rapier +15, DMB +3, PW, and Hornet's ring did 1300 damage to a guy in full Havel's. It did over 1600 damage to the same guy on a parry. Pretty impressive, right (will kill anyone at 50 vit and no FaP, or MoM)?

I'll be back on to get more OHKs tonight.

My combo of the day, Dusk crown+wog, stagger bs. 800 for wog 500+ for bs......

I had some success chasing hunters last night. Best moment came when I caught a guy who had been ganging quite a bit alone. I cut him off from the stairs and chased him to the cliff, nipping at his heels with my scythe. With less than a quarter of his health he stopped at the cliffs and ultimately decided jumping was the better alternative.

I have returned. My console had an off resonance plate, so I had to go get a new one. Took longer then I though it would.

is this event still going on? i see plenty of farmers but not as much invaders in comparison

I'm still getting reports of successful kills, so I would asume that at least the brigades are still taking part.

It is, should pick up again. Its till 9pm today pst so numbers will fluctuate.

@The Grave Lords, ultra isn't aware of his guys offing you but he's speaking with them to be sure. I'd assume anyone not following the greeting protocol is a random and act accordingly. The scythe in particular is fairly popular, so expect to see it in hostile hands as often as allied.

Farmer purging or not, lets try to stay friendly and have fun.

I've spoke with them, and they have not killed any GL except our own(Sometimes when they invade a world of another brigade, they duel for fun).

I just had a guy that let me back stab him. He prayed, then turned around. I was not sure what he was saying, so I walked through the forest a bit, and he followed me, trying to get in front of me so I could back stab him. An honorable friend indeed.

just killed some pansy in stone armor who would not stop flasking, pretty darn annoying, but he was easily killed when he ran out of flasks

My invasions are starting to dry up. I've gone through the forest 9 times without getting a world. Not even GLs or other combatants.

yeah the are getting rather sparse
