New build ideas

I have used Smough's,BkS and BkGS, lifehunt, CMW on +5 crystal murakumo and even tried dragon fist. I am looking for input on what else to try out for pvp.

I am pretty quick in making a new character/build.

DGM/SLB build?

Izalith catalyst build.

Ryu build (dragon bone fist + charcoal pine resin.)

GC DMB build?

GOD. Being serious, most any thing works if you know how to do it, Pick a weapons that looks interesting & build for it, the dss is very effective.

The Claw with DMB because it looks awesome.

Everyone suggesting hybrid buffing builds...I guess you could do that. Or you wanted could be cool and use something actually interesting like a Dragon weapon STR/VIT build or a Whip DEX build, or even something weird like an Anor Londo Giant clone build.

Try an executioners

Demons Great axe (or demons machete or w/e its called; i.e the bigass demon sword)

Sun blade (until u get darkmoon blade buff)

and Power Within.

you will be 1 shotting most players and its a pretty intensely high skill build.

not to mention par non the Best Pve build out there.

50 str
30 faith
40 end
40 vit

high Risk High reward.

nothing more rewarding then one hitting someone ( or 4 people at once) to death.

im not exaggerating ive hit most for about 1300+

Killing somebody in one hit maybe rewarding but itll get boring quick, no lasting matches, just a super OP sword on a semi aggressive character. Plus DemonGreat Machete is so easy to parry lol

try dual wielding battleaxes.

also do a rhea build, just put everything into faith up to say 60 (for the hell of it) then vit and end and use occult/ divine caestus' also some attunement for wog, force, and all the spells she sells...

also, try cos-pvp for example cosplaying as the adjudicator boss from demons souls or the old hero boss!

or you could go pro and do a club build with no shield and the seekers hat with no other armor. (closest look to a demons souls depraved one... i think.)

another option is a pestilence build using all the mist pyros and poison resin with a large club or a bleed weapon

and for fun do a mimic head caestus build with orange charred ring on so your kicks do damage.

same thing can be said for all weapons, not just big weapons. if you have the dragon body the roar will stun you which leaves you open and then youre gonna go splat, ive seen videos of guys doing that and i need to try that. im making a build just for that.

Thought of the shield in right hand idea too and tried left hand weapons. This inspired me to take a cosplay idea perhaps too far. I suggested an Inigo Montoya build on another thread. Here me out on this one. Ricard's rapier in left hand, no backup weapon. No right hand weapon. Parry and poke left hand. If you start to lose you message your opponent, "I know something you don't. I...am not left handed" at which point you switch your left hand to unequipped and right hand to your other Ricard's rapier. Just pray they don't know Benetti's defense

this lol! Im doing this with dual chaos+5 battle axes with an iron round sheild, helmet of vamos+ 10, no chest armor, hallow warior waist cloth+ 10 its a really fun build when youre not fighting try hard kids who super buff their weapons and cheese alot

yeah, and on medium to low poise targets you can get a really long combo lock on them by alternating blades...

I've been planning on doing an Inigo Montoya build ever since I heard the slogan for Dark Souls was "Prepare to Die". Ricard's Rapier is perfect, but never thought about starting with it in my left hand. Pure Awesome!!! I was going to message people Asking "by any chance do you have six fingers on your right hand?" then even if they didn't answer I'd message again with. "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father PREPARE TO DIE!" Just wish the PS3 messaging was faster

Yeah, by the time you opened the message box you would be dead with my idea. So you'd have to lose then try to fight the same person again unless you're good at running and hiding which is definitely not Inigo Montoya. Glad I'm not the only one who's seen that movie a few too many times. I was practicing parries on Balder Knights at Sen's the other night with my bloodshield which seems to work very well but also messed around with Ricard's rapier as well. That thing is pretty sweet and the left hand poke would be perfect to aggravate people, I would have done more with it but don't have the very large ember in my current run to upgrade it all the way.
