Looking for some build ideas.

Hit me. I'm great with dex builds, I've tried a few str builds using some of the greatswords. I've used magic and miracles. But I'm kinda bored. So hit me.

resistance build?

Using the dragon body? Maybe hahahahahaha.

like you i also have nothing else to do, ive done everything there is to do pretty much, im gonna focus on the fight club from now on, love my last two builds and tonight i did good with one of them.

I'm thinking of doing a pure caster. maybe.

i did one and pve was so easy, pvp on the other hand i got my *** kicked a lot. what about a str/fai build?

I'm on my 6th melee/faith build hahaha.

oh.....i try everything and ended up with all str/fai builds, i really wanted to like dex/fai but i just cant, too bad cause i love katanas and rapiers, i even have two rapiers on my living room wall.

they're nice. the main issues I have is getting stunlocked.

yeah, that why you have to hit and run a lot, its nice killing someone with two hits with my machete sometimes.

Int/dex
L1: trident
L2: firesage catalyst
R2: chaos notched whip
R1: bss +15 with cmw or any other weapon/buff

U can pick the main weapon and if you want to use buff or not. If you havnt done a no shield toon they are a good change, if you have then you know what the plan is.
Rings and armor is up to you.

I've farmed for days on an int based character. NO TRIDENT EVER!!! Hahahaha. I rarely shield. I always have the darkhand on my offhand just in case I get caught off guard.

I was going to suggest the exact same thing, cause that's the next build I'm gonna try.

I'm doing a "torturer" build too :

RH1 : Claw
RH2 : Notched whip
LH1 : Claw
LH2 : xxxxxxxx

I don't know what's gonna be in LH2 but the main stats will be vit/end/dex I think.

I got a int/dex build with rapiers that use spells too (not only buffs) and it's quite fun.

I got a tank build Vit/End/Res with elemental weapons.

And.. others that I don't remember.

try a pyro hand for the torture, and have mist spells and maybe some combustions....

Wow no trident :x i think i could drop you 1 from a lvl 20 if you want 1 or from a 120 if you want 1 for a higher lvl toon.

I'm quite interested by that trident too.

@Maneater Possibly. Im not a huge fan of int builds. My last one was alright but I wasn't as into it as my faith build. I actually find the miracles more offensively helpful.


As far as the duel dragon bone fist build.... maybe hahahaha. Sounds like something I'd have to try out.

I've never used the dragon body so any tips as far as stats go? I'm thinking having vit/end/str/dex at 40 each. Starting as a pyromancer and having 2 casts of great fireball.

only use dragon weapons for the defense boost also its come to my attention res is actually not useless for light or no armor builds (like extra 80+ def at 40 or so but only for light armor)
get the str to use all dragon weapons. boost vit ,end and with more research maybe res, leave dex alone....

I've heard a lot about resistance. I dont really know who to believe because no one gives proof that I have seen.


I've heard that it gives you the same resistance benefit as leveling any other stat. I've heard that it gives you more def than any stat. So does anyone have anything to back this up? If its actually beneficial I'll do a resistance build hahaha.

Res caps out at about sl 40 thats you total sl not stat sl. It gives about dbl the defence of any othet stat upto sl 40ish. So if you are going to use it, use it early.

So starting by upgrading res is the best way to go?
