    Armor for as much protection, since it's mid roll. Weapon because I like it (and there are other options with them stats. Miracles are one for protection against spells and such, and the other is for when I wanna 'douche back at ya' times. That leaves one ring slot free, as per the situation requires.

    I've been running with a pure physical melee build in the past couple of months, but I found I lacking certain methods for protection against spells is something extremely hard to counter with a pure melee build, so I wanna try something else (and I'm leaving fast roll out for the challenge).

    What say you?

    Gets two trolls up from me, full giants can't be viewed in any other way really due to the whole giantdad rep bounce

    I'm curious as to why you correlate the word "troll" with this build.

    First because what Serious said, and second cuz of mixmaxing (sorta). I don't really care much if it is, so maybe I should have worded the title differently. I am looking forward to trying this out in harlequin's forest.

    It's the whole full giants thing. Before the whole "legend never dies thing" back when DWGR was epic, builds like that would just be known as "Giant trolls" or "mom/dad/child trolls" if they wore a mask. The same went for full havels with family masks too.

    It's the min/max, high defence, max poise, style of thinking. It's not actually troll in itself like the definition. It's just souls meta

    Nah, it's inefficient (imo), mid-rolling with an elemental weapon and only one WoG.

     Yes,another troll build. Being a killer isn't the name of the game as a troll,being silly and annoying people is.

    A troll build is a build that implies you built it specifically to annoy invaders/hosts; this looks, more or less, like you just want to defend yourself.

    So no, it doesn't shout "troll".

    Troll would be a Level 1 Chaos Reinforced Club +5 Hornet Ring Invading Lagstabber.

    ...maybe I'm just ignorant, but what I'd consider "trolling" would be a fat guy wearing the boar helm and Big Hat's undies running around with a channeler's trident and 42 casts of force.
