Why not just get some better poison resist gear and spam poison knives/arrows + dung pie while wearing anti-poison ring and hornet ring (should they try to moss)? You could still run the mists too obviously, but you might as well capitalize on the theme. It's a lot easier to hit people with pies and knives than the mists so they make good fallback options.

Isn't one of LunarFog's low level builds exactly made as a toxin/poison build with a dagger setup for this purpose? I would learn from her about this.

I'd use the BSS and buff it with fire resin, because...well there's this group called the Karmic Gremlin Gang......they're wacky though, and a very unstable group of people.
