    I'm thinking on trying a faith build using occult weapons, so I was wondering what would be a good faith level. I plan on mixing some miracles (WoG for gankers/BS fishers, GMB for Dark Magic spammers and maybe emit force just for the lulz).

    I have not decided on my main weapon; but I'm thinking on using the Darksword because it has that delicious S scaling in faith; but not really sure.

    I would suggest mugenmonkey for this. Pick your weapon, put in your build and then check the differences. Unfortunately, the alternate upgrade paths like occult and enchanted seem to be fairly useless. It depends on the weapon but I've seen max about 10 more damage at 50 int, though the split is slightly different too.

    But play around, you should be able to see the crossover pretty easily. Put one of each upgrade path in the builder and change the faith.

    Divine is to my knowledge allways better for weapons (bows are better occult), and scales up to 50 faith. You'll get allmost the same AR with divine and occult, but divine has more magick damage.

    scaling stops @ 50fth/int (and isn't worth it before you reach 50 imo). enchanted is always best afaik. with divine/occult it's not always so easy: generally divine has the better split but afaik an occult composite bow is better so you have to check your desired weapon in the char. edit.

    If you aren't going over 40 faith Lightning / Chaos will outperform Divine/Occult. On many weapons Divine is better than occult because more of it's damage is on the magic side (by very teeny margins) But in some cases around 50faith Occults higher faith scaling gives the weapon more Total AR.

    Well according to Mugen Monkey at 50 faith the AR difference between an Occult Darksword and a Divine Darksword is 442 vs. 443 respectively.

    Is there any relatively low Str/Dex requirement weapon that I should consider? I want to keep the build faith focused so I don't have too much in the physical stats department (18/16).

     Edit: Crescent Axe does have an AR of 490 and since I haven't seen many of those in PVP it sounds tempting.

    crescent axe big banefit is that its scaling caps @ 40fth. i'd say your best guess is a divine bastard sword if you want to get 50fth.

    If you have 18/16 you have many more options than my 14/14 faith build.

    I personally use the Scythe, Great Scythe, A Bandit's Knife, Uchi, BSS(my preference for strait swords sub in any straight sword you like) And I keep a Partizan around but use the Demon Spear more often.

    I also keep a Falchion / Rapier / BSS for buffing on me.

    The Scythe/GScythe are my standard weapons, good reach and damage, decent criticals. The Bandit's Knife and BSS are for certain situations, either I need the strongest Crits I can get (IE I just found a gank squad) and the BSS is my Go-to Weapon for fighting Spears if I don't have time to get a buff on the Rapier. Katanas are just generally good to have around, fast attacks and Bleed.

    With your stats you could explore more stuff. I've 2h the cresent axe and find it kind of clunky to use, but it can stunlock and has good AR. You also can 1h the Claymore and Halberd, both strong weapons with good movesets. And IIRC at 50faith a divine claymore has something like 550 AR. (I really honestly struggle every Day thinking about tweaking my build to have 16/14 just for access to the claymore)
