How do you treat gravelords in the forest?

If I find I've invaded a gravelord in the Forest, I treat them as an ally and thank them for there help by suiciding.  It is always helpful invading someone's world that has been cursed.

It certainly depends on the situation. If you are one of the infected players, it would make sense to kill the Gravelord. But, otherwise, they're doing the community a terrific service by making gankers' worlds hell.

I kill them.  I'm almost always the host in the forest so they hurt me.  Nothing is worse than being hit by an unexpected black phantom that spawned near a usual hiding spot.

I have a far greater respect for gravelords than any other covenant mainly because they always get ganked (or nearly always) by the spirits of vengeance. Because of that I usually try to duel them.

I will show no mercy. They are in the forest, that by itself warrents little wariness of slaughtering them outright. As well as the fact that they are used to getting ganked, as gravelording anywhere will make it so that they are teamed up on. So, like anyone in the forest, I show little mercy in my CSS to the back of their head.

High Five them for BP Mushroom Parents. Those things are better at stopping a host+phantom than most players will ever be. that punch....oh god that punch.

I play that area offline, get to Sif, log on, wait til I see invaders pop in then go in to Sif's area soon as I see them.
YOU NOT GANKING ME

When I gl the forest people are usually cool and will wait, bit I get ganked a lot too.

I go with this! Those guys have baws, man! I've had a greater time gravelording the forest than actually invading with any other means. Having 3 people trying to kill you, or trying to kill eachother can be really fun.

I show my respect to fellow gravelorders, and try to wait for them if they're busy.

It depends. If I invade via their sign then i suicide. If I invade one as a Darkmoon then that means they have sin in addition to cursing other players. Invading a Gravelord as a Darkmoon is THE ONLY situation in which i will gank somebody intentionally. Luckily for gravelord's it balances out because not everybody ganks Gravelords so it rarely turns into an actual gank. If a red has invaded the Gravelord then i let them duel.

Another thing i do is use the Trident to buff any other blues fighting the GL and let them finish their duel.

I've never managed to invade the entire one gravelord sign I saw in the forest.We obviously need more gravelords to get the black phantom mushrooms for ganker killing.Those things are awesome.

I drop my extra eyes and then continue with the duel, if more people show up and try to gank the GL I walk off and wait until the interloper is dealt with.

Gravelords are the unsung heros of the forest.

I always give them a fair fight.
