Slightly related to bronies in the sense of identifying yourself with something, these people do it with animals. This is a documentary with ads in it to pay for it. So, do any of you bronies think you could go to this level of adoration for MLP? Or would you not really identify yourself as actually being ponies?

Dangerous territory, my friend. Your dancing on the edge of some dangerous logic typically only applied to us by trolls and/or ignorant haters.Tolvo wrote:http://www.logotv.com/video/what-i-think-im-an-animal/1706138/playlist.jhtml

Re: Brony Thread
Sorry if it comes off like baiting or anytihng, I was honestly curious.
It is a show about characters that are animals, and a lot of people see themself as a "Pinkiepie" or some other characters, so it sounds sort of similar though the Therians genuinely believe they are said creatures. I was just wondering if anyone who is a brony here also literally thinks of themself as a pony, or if like you said they just see it as a show they really enjoy.
Not trying to piss anyone off or anything, I was just curious.

I think that's enough Internet for me today .
Sh!ts getting crazy around here .
But yeah, just as Reaper said .
We watch a Show and discuss it on the Internet .

Re: Brony Thread
I'm sure there are some in the fandom like that, but it's certainly not the majority and they'd likely have that...is it insensitive to call it a condition? Well, they'd likely be like that whether they were a Brony or not.Tolvo wrote:Sorry if it comes off like baiting or anytihng, I was honestly curious.

And don't worry, nobody's offended or anything. It just happens to tread close to the territory of "Bronies are furries" or taken further down the line "Bronies are people who want to f*** horses." These are basically the bottom of the barrel in terms of anti-Brony troll comments, right along things like "all Bronies are not straight."
^Last line's wording changed due to forum censorship. I'm sure you can all imply what the original comment was supposed to mean.
We're just giving you a heads-up and/or a warning as to what kinds of things you should avoid even implying about Bronies.

Re: Brony Thread
Well those things are true, but not of all bronies. Just like not all Star Wars fans want to bang a Twi'lek but some do.
Understood, if I'm talking about such a subject I'll probably try to preface it more.
I don't know about condition, it's certainly strange but I guess similar to the idea of being born a gender you don't associate with. Though mentally seeing yourself as an animal, they think on an entirely different level than us while men and women are on the same level.
The only real issue I have with it is when they want the right to be legally identified as a wolf or something, that's just too far in my book.

Re: Brony Thread
And yet another fact why generalisation doesn't work .
But Reapers right .
Bronies go apesh!t when things are implied about them, so you should be more careful about what you ask from them or you might not get a lick of information or are dismissed as a Troll, that's a fact sadly .

Again, don't feel so uptight. Just trying to help you understand some of the taboos of Brony cultureTolvo wrote:Well those things are true, but not of all bronies. Just like not all Star Wars fans want to bang a Twi'lek but some do.

Also, I don't get the Star Wars reference
Deeper threads than this are required for deeper topics like thatTolvo wrote:I don't know about condition, it's certainly strange but I guess similar to the idea of being born a gender you don't associate with. Re: Brony Thread
They're the elf of Star Wars in that they are basically the sex symbol species. They're laughably crazy to consider since those head tails they have are as sensitive as testicles, yet they have warriors, note almost none of them wear any head protection. Doesn't really make any sense. Alright time for me to slide back into the shadows.

I don't think I'd ever want to be a pony, I'm content on being human, well sort of. Sometimes I would like to be a tree instead.

I'm content with being human. If I could be an animal for a year, I'd be the socially awkward penguin.
Wait! I already am socially awkward...

If that's who you are then I'm happy for you. It can be tough (especially at that age) but it also denotes a rapid maturation of yourself as an individual, at 17 I couldn't tell you which way was up.Tolvo wrote:Well good for you Wade, more than I could manage.
