Honestly, it seems interesting but I just couldn't get into it. I guess that makes me a bad gamer, or maybe I need to give it another shot.

Re: Brony Thread
Never played Infinite but when I was in my Best Buy a couple months back I saw the original Bioshock just sitting on a shelf being practically given away ($6) I decided, "What the hell?" and I picked it up.

There you have it, but don't tell me that whatever is going on in Random Off Topic at times isn't Spam on your part .
Anyway, i should have put a Smiley there or something to make it more clear that it wasn't serious

What exactly turned you off ?
The Gameplay was really frustrating for me, but the Story kept me going .

Re: Brony Thread
Gameplay. I didn't like hearing alarms going off from I don't know where causing loud noises, attracting every enemy in a 50-foot radius to descend on me with little flying turrets, and having enemies shoot a Big Daddy and having the Big Daddy turn on me despite me not having done a thing to it.
But really, just the loud noises made it a generally unpleasant experience for me.

Re: Brony Thread
Then i would recommend doing what i did .
Play on Easy and just play for the Story .
The Story makes putting up with the bad Gameplay worth it imo.
If you like Bioshock 1 Story, don't play Bioshock 2, it sucks and has even worse gameplay

I love that the fandom is getting so much attention that they're featured in a parody show

And yet the news manages to find stupid things to document....
Sure, don't focus on North Korea or the wars in Asia and Africa, focus on a KIDS SHOW. That makes sense.

If every TV Channel would focus on the same things we might as well don't watch TV at all .

- Spoiler:
You may be thinking that this guy is weird .
But if you think about it this way :
He has enough Money to finance his hobby and still have a normal Job .
He got his sh!t together unlike those that call him a fgt over the Internet .
And people like this already existed way before MLP, those are called Otakus and they're the same as Bronies, the one difference being that Otakus obsess over Anime, i still don't understand why Bronies still get so much more attention .

Marino. wrote:i still don't understand why Bronies still get so much more attention .
I won't pretend to know Japanese culture well enough to say this is concrete, but to my knowledge it's because anime is generally considered gender-neutral. There's some for boys and some for girls, but the general weirdness of otakus came from the fact that it was simply outside their age group. Men/Women continuously and thoroughly enjoying something stereotypically associated with boys/girls. MLP and Bronyism goes a step beyond though past the previously neutral gender barrier by being about one show in particular instead of an entire medium, and that step is what draws the attention. Think about the arguments used against Bronies. They typically all revolve around the question "why do you like a cartoon for little girls," not just "why do you like a kids' cartoon?" I could extrapolate the point with further details, but I don't feel like thinking about it too much right now and I'm sure you can figure out where'd I'd be going anyway
