Okay from what I can understand Kyubey is an alien creature that withholds information like putting your soul in a soul jem or a cardboard box. It doesn't understand human emotion and granted the girls a wish to become some sort of warrior.
It didn't understand that withholding that information was wrong it was doing what it understood it should do. Unless if I'm wrong, I haven't seen the anime yet.

Some people just like to let it out more than others. While I am interested in death... apathy... torture... pain... suffering... I will not go so far as to enjoy it, to an extent. While I'll find pleasure from it, I may not enjoy it per se.

I learned evil by becoming it Dibs and then overcame it and have control over it. It was a dark time, I was young and I got pushed to the edge of insanity. You see why I don't like Kyubey.
