    While the flickering was there, I made a 45 DEX build, put Dark Hand as my shield, Pyro Flame off-hand, 12 ATT and two Black Flames.

    People couldn't tell whether I had my Dark Hand or Pyro glove out.

    A lot of my fights ended with me acting like I was falling back to heal, then doing a 700+ damage Black Flame.

    RTS needs nerf.

    Using melee might take you up and close, but gives you a better analysis of the situation and it is easier to adapt. Get up and close to an unpreparede caster, and he is done. Have a little knowledge about miracles and they cannot do anything. Pyromancy is easy to adapt against.

    Pyromancy isn't so easy to beat when it can two hit kill you,as that host and his two phantoms just found out.I have a chaos washing pole too for when I need it.This may sound like overkill at level 30 but I do have to fight people much higher than myself too.

    I never have problem with pryomancy, but unsurprised i guess it can be hard to survive through.

    SL 1 PvP is the best PvP I've ever had.

    Also, the only people that give me problems with Pyromancy are the ones who use Chaos as well as normal, as you sometimes roll into lava...

    It's tight quarters in Sen's so most people probably don't feel comfortable rolling away.I can dodge their magic just fine but that's just me.

    Black Flame tends to do slightly less damage than Great Combustion, but Black Flame breaks 60 poise and has MUCH larger stamina damage.
    If I can remember correctly, 2 or 3 Black Flames will break a Grass Crest Shield at 40 END, compared to around 4 or 5 with GC.

    I don't feel like doing the DLC just for black flame.Great combustion does plenty of poise damage anyway,I don't think I need an upgrade.My new favourite spell is fire tempest.

    I do the DLC only because Artorias is the funnest fight in the game, and Manus is my third favourite boss.

    I usually won't use spells, miracles, or pyromancy if it is a 1v1. But when there are bankers they are great. Oh, three people surrounding me? Wrath of the gods. Three people about to come around a corner? Fire tempest. Two tanks about to charge me with great swords? Pursuers and Dark bead. Plus if there is lag miracles, pyromancies, and spells become impossible to dodge all of them.
