and i was wondering if you can even use strong magic shield on the dark hand if not ill simply use another spell in its spot but if you can then that would make dark hand hella strong lol

You can and it actually works great because I believe the Dark Hand aura masks the magical buff so people might not even notice you have your shield buffed.

Just keep in mind the spell doesn't last for long so you might want to consider the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring.
