How important are individual points of attack rating, when considering critical damage?

I was thinking about diminishing returns etc, but what if you went all out on str and dex?

Would the burrito combo of 487 AR painting guardian sword plus rapier riposte warrant the use of such a high level? Would its sl 120 invader equivalents come with their Warrior like This one here and easily defeat you?


You could even work red tear into the build. Basically play defensively observing the moves of the intruder. One hit will likely place you in red tear which is nice... sort of...


A common dex toon rapier would have 314 Ar, a str/dex gouge has 414.

as far as crits go, the Rapier gets a special bonus for Riposts, so you can't just compare the AR of the rapier to something else.

not sure what you mean by a Burrito combo, but only the Right hand weapon riposts, the left has zero effect

Burrito combo refers to the act of landing an off hand wep attack during your opponents frames after being parried, while following up with a riposte.
