Alright I've developed an explanation for why we co-op and why we PVP as far as lore goes.
Due to Twilight coming across a prophecy telling that Lordran would one day thrust it's darkness upon Equestria and the rest of the universe the ponies decide to go there and fight. However, they need allies for this and try to find as many recruits from other areas of the fictional universe they live in.
These allies can be from other fictional forms of media like movies, TV shows, and other video games. Which would explain non-brony cosplay.
When they finally get to Lordran they still find parts of the world still willing to learn about friendship, which is the only thing that can stop the darkness of Lordran from taking over the universe. So in an effort to spread friendship the cult decides to help more humans in Lordran out. (Explaining co-op)
Now, while there are forces in Lordran that are willing to learn about Friendship there are other humans that are against it spreading. It's because of this that the cult and it's fictional allies must fight these anti-friendship forces. (Explaining PVP)
The explanation for co-op is somewhat similar to covenant alliances and enemies too. As some of these mysterious covenants have decided to ally themselves with us while others have decided to oppose us because of their hatred towards friendship.
Thoughts on this? I would like to here from some non-covenant members too since some of you are very critical with this covenant.

I like the idea behind it. Allows for a fitting reason to cover all areas of online, I definitely like it!

I find your lore development both novel and very unique!! It fits very well with the Covenant Section concept. It should broaden the Covenant Sections appeal to many others...as long as you can keep it on track!! Sincere Good Wishes!

Alright so the lore is updated and on the OP! Everything seems to be going very well right now.
However, I was thinking while looking at the OP that we might be able to add some images to make it a bit more visually pleasing to the eye. If any of you have ideas on what images to add on there just post them here or link them!

The Lore sounds good so far, better than what i could ever come up with
(see below for evidence) .
My build

The Channeliers experimented with his Body in order to create the ultimate type of Warrior, one that could use his Shield as a Weapon so he could attack while defending. So they cut his Hands off and replaced them with Spiked Shields...
They failed horribly, his mind over the Years dulled, he was not able to fight .
He was discarded like a Hollow and got send to the Burg, his Hands now replaced with Wheels he is enslaved by the Hollows and used as a mere ultility Animal to cart stuff around .
He himself thinks he's a Boar and lives a simple life .
Meanwhile the Channeliers succeded in their experiments, they made the Fang Boars .
Kreuz got along with the Boars really well .
One Day the Ponies came and asked themselves why Kreuz wasn't hostile towards them like the other Boars he replied :"You are also Boars . We don't fight we Transport things ."
When the Ponies asked him why he lives such a poor life when he could easylie tear his tormenters apart he replied "It would destroy the infrastructure, if we don't cart supplies to the Troops they would starve and would be unable to defend the Church and that would endanger everyone here .
I don't want to put anyone in danger."
(This is where i get lazy)
The Ponies convince him that he puts more people in danger by helping the Hollows and he convinces the other Boars to join the Ponies cause .
