Okay, I was never good at math, but after randomly testing some stuff on the clams in the crystal caves, I'd appreciate any info as to what's going on...

    RELATIVE STATS:

    Str: 14
    Dex: 45
    Int: 32

Test #1 (No damage boost gear):

*used tin banishment catalyst here for second best scaling*

Dark Bead (all beads hitting): 364

    WITH DUSK CROWN:

Dark Bead (all beads hitting) : 525 *This is a +161 damage improvement* (if all hit)

    +23 more damage per bead

*occasionally I hit for only 524.... does this mean that half-numbers are factored in, and not rounded?*

    This I expected:

    DUSK CROWN + TCC

Dark Bead (all beads hitting): 882 *This is a +357 damage increase*

    This I did not expect:

DUSK CROWN + TCC + BELLOWING DRAGONCREST RING

Try and guess how much dark bead hit for before looking:

    Spoiler:

Now, keep in mind, this was just the clam's max hp-- so it probably hit for even more.

How is it possible that with this holy trinity of magic boost gear, we get so much damage? Are the boosts stacking exponentially?

It seems that without all 3 pieces, I only hit the 800+ damage mark with all of the beads.

Having all 3 pieces, however, always added a crazy amount of damage. I know the tests aren't that great and have probably been done before-- but I was surprised at how with all 3 you get such a significant boost. (I would've expected around 1000+ damage, not 1337+ damage)

*somewhat funny that the damage was leet

This would be great if we could know the pure damage, as clams are slightly resistant to magic. You should test this on a real max health player, but otherwise the findings tell us quite a lot about how damage is calculated.
I'm curious about the fractions rather than rounded numbers, as I've seen Chaos Blade users only take 19 damage.
It may be somewhere around 19/899/900, as bytes in a game like Dark Souls seem to be exact.

max hp only matters in pvp, you did hit fir 1337 damage

how come you didn't expect BDCR to add damage? it's in the description

    Well let's consider this.
    287 magic adjust.
a 1.2 boost from either ring or crown would become
    344.4 magic adjust.
A boost from both however would become
    413.28 magic adjust.

We all know from the damage tests conducted by blaine that AR has increasing returns: which means that the increase in damage from 300 to 400 is only maybe half of what is given from 400 to 500. Evidently, all 3 together would be game breaking, right?
